I'm tired... nakakapagod' Mahirap maging 104kg. Yes, I was at 104kg last January 2014, this was my heaviest ever. Walang control sa food at yosi. From 2013 to 14 nag gain ako ng 12kg at bumibigat pa. I got my blood test and cholesterol was way out of normal lalo na yung triglyciride ko... im not getting any younger and i will literally die kung hindi ako magbabago ng lifestyle.
Phase 1: was cutting down food intakes, ang hirap. Jan-April, 8kg nawala sa akin.
Phase 2: sinamahan ko na ng takbo takbo at nagbawas pa ako ng 2kg. Happy pero I still have a long way to go.
Phase 3: I decided to go to hit the gym and im on a mission. I was 95kg - June 15 and as of July 20 (last time na nagtimbang ako), I lost another 5kg. My gym is more on Circuit training and twice a week lang training.
Phase 4: Started Yesterday (July26), 3x a week training na may weights na. I'm looking forward at 80kg anytime in September.

    Mga idol, patulong naman ano effective way para mapaliit ang tyan (anong exerciese)? Since nawalan ako ng 5kg... feeling ko yung tyan ko wala nagbago? Salamat

    @fatmonkey - honestly wala akong mapapayo sayo na ispesyal, 2 bagay lang bro, be consistent on two things ..workout and pagkain. Gawin mo lang yan at hindi ka bibiguin ng katawan mo. Bawal lang mag madali, kasi lifetime sports to. Ang mga nag mamadali, pwede namang magpa Belo kung may budget.

    Pano yung sa pagkain? Know your calorie requirements per day then do the calorie deficit.

    Nakita ko sa net on how to compute calorie deficit at eto lumabas sa akin. The only figure na naiintindihan ko is yung calorie needs and the rest :huh no idea.

    Total Daily Calorie Needs 2630
    Calorie Deficit of 500 calories: 2130
    Calorie Deficit of 1000 calories: 1800
    Calorie Deficit of 15%: 2236
    Calorie Deficit of 20%: 2104
    Calorie Deficit of 25%: 1973
    Calorie Deficit of 30%: 1841

    Palakihin mo yung chest, shoulder, back and legs mo para magmukhang maliit yung waist mo. Hindi mapipili ng katawan mo kung san say magbabawas ng taba, kaya pag naglose ka ng fat most likely all over your body. Shempre mas malaki ang chance na mabawasan ng taba yung mas madaming fat deposits (kagaya ng bilbil sa tiyan) pero not to the point na TIYAN lang ang mawawala.

    Day 3 - Cardio
    Day4 - Rest
    Day5 - Legs
    Day6 - Shoulder/Arms
    Day 7- Rest

    Eto suggestion ko na routine na pwede mo subukan. Yung routine sa sidebar mo masyado madali at mukhang nagmamadali kasi whole body in one session. Kung gusto mo maubos yung taba mo, train more, and dont drop calories TOO low please lang. Forget the word DIETING, hindi yan para sa newbies, kumain ka lang ng normal. Shempre dont forget the protein. It's very difficult to come up with a diet plan if you been munching on shit for a very long time. Don't calculate your meals, MANIPULATE them. Minimize the junk and replace them with more health friendly alternatives. Once responsible ka na sa eating habits mo, that's the time when calculating macros will be very useful. For now, Train as much as you can :)

    Thank you idol. Naku kelangan ko pa magpapababa ng timbang and sa tingin ko kaya ko mag intake below 2000 calorie per day.

    Pag 2130 calories per day ba at mamaintain ko sya eh magbabawas pa ako ng timbang? :blush:

    Started using myfitnesspal (matalinong app), and pumapasok namn sa required calories na hinihinga nya sa akin. Mga idol napansin ko kc everythings is fine except my sodium na super negative (-1K plus). Ano yung sinasabi nito sa akin and kung hindi ko sya mapapababa ano yung magiging epekto nun? Thank you.

    After 50 days... almost 10kg din nabawas, now at 85.50 kg Thank you lord. Hope to hit 80 by the end of this month.

    22lb dropped in 7 weeks...
    Then another 12lb drop in a month? Have you managed to take pictures during the entire time of the progress?

    I have my photos when I was in my 95kgs pero ngaun sir wala po. I'm thinking na to take it when I hit 80 kg.

    @fatmonkey - Yep, hindi naman sinabi na ganyan ang mangyayare sayo. At least may idea ka kung ano yung posibleng maging resulta kung puro pagpapapayat lang sa mabilis na paraan ang gagawin.

    Mga idol, need your advice. Sumakit gitna lower back ko... 3 araw na ako naka salompas. My last work out was chest/biceps/forearm/abs. Nagtataka ako bakit nun Gabi sumakit lower back ko. Do I need to rest for a week muna? Or continue, lifting belt na Lang? Pinagagalitan kasi ako ng asawa ko at magbubuhat na namn daw ako eh hirap daw ako magbend. Advice po. Thanks.

    Sir, am no expert so ndi ko alam Kung alin dun... Feeling ko muscle kc pag nasasalompasan eh mawawala namn sa umaga. Pero every morning when I twist naglalagutukan yun likod ko pero masarap yun feeling. Basta masakit sya pag nag bebend ako, although Iba Iba na ngaun.

    Wala yan bro, stiff lang yan. Parang ganyan din ako everyday pagkagising at paguwi sa bahay. Mas madalas pa nga na ganyan ang feeling pag matagal ka nakupo sa office tapos medyo kuba pa ang upo at pangit ang posture. Minsan hindi totally dahil sa pagbubuhat yan, kahit sumakit katawan mo dahil sa pagbubuhat the fact na hindi makarelax yung muscle kahit so normal activities lang, restricted tuloy and blood flow kaya mas matagal sya makarecover at mas prone pa sa ibang sakit. Ugaliin mo magstretching after weights at bago matulog lalo na kung galing sa work. Pag aralan mo din yung mga stretching sa lower back, hamstring and glutes. Mahalaga yan long term kasi yang mga muscle dyan ang sumosoporta sa katawan mo buong araw kaya pagod na pagod yan lagi. Karamihan ng nakikita ko sa gym konting unat unat lang, ikot ikot ng mga braso at talon talon ok na sa kanila for stretching, maling mali yun lalo na kung compound multi joint exercises ang gagawin.

    Thank you sir... Medyo kuba nga ako, pangit posture ko so pag nagbubuhat nauunat talaga likod ko for proper posture/forms. Aray ko sir... Tinamaan ako sa sinabi mo na konting unat unat, ikot ikot. Medyo konti stretching ko... I'll focus on that next work out. Ginagaw ako kc konting unat unat nga then dyanamic warm up 10 reps x 3 (lunge with a twist, knee to chest, high kicks, hip stretch twist, t-push ups, jump squat, jump lunges, child pose breathing, glute bridge) then rest 5 mins then buhat na.
