    @Monching: sa first phase ng cut wag mo masyado ibaba yung calories mo lalo na yung carbs. mas safe kung within or slightly above maintenance muna kasi pwede mo kunin yung deficit through exercise. mawawalan ka din ng room for adjustment on the succeeding months pag nagstart ka kagad kumain in a deficit. :) pag nagstop yung fatloss mo short bulk kagad, tapos cut ulit kasi in the long run towrads fatloss pa din ang trend. karamihan kasi pag nagstop na maglose lalo pa binababa yung calories, tapos magcacardio pa kaya sa huli ubos ang muscle tapos lawlaw yung laman :)

    Nung 1st 2 weeks, sa gabi lang ako di nag carbs. Then 3rd week pinapalitan ko na ung kanin ko sa tanghali ng gulay+2 order ng karne. Right now I've switched to rolled oats (ang sarap pala neto kesa sa instant oats) and I eat them twice during breakfast and lunch.

    So far, laki ng na loss ko sa midsection even my ate who always say the shit about me complimented me na ang laki daw ng niliit ng tyan ko kanina without me asking (I always ask her kung macho ako and lagi nya sinasabi saken ULOL LAKI NG TYAN MO hahahahahah!)

    I hope I'm doing it right lol, so far OK pa naman tingin ko sa salamin. Laki nga lang ng pinayat ng mukha ko now hahahah.

    but can I still have my 1 day cheat day? Un pala pang break ng plaeteau bulk again.

    yes sir, malaking bagay yung short bulks in between the entire cutting phase to preserve your mass. one thing that should be considered first when cutting is muscle preservation, fat loss second lang, lalo na kung natty ka. kaya usually 20 weeks ang alloted time ko when cutting para minimal muscle loss.

    cheat day is a must! derecho buffet! yung glycogen replenishment mo during the cheat day will be carried out the succeeding days. so even if you go low on calories for 3-4 straight days, you have enough in the tank to lift heavy. actually hindi yung pre workout meal ang helpful kundi yung kinain mo pa the day before.

    atras abante lang hehehe :)

    Just to reconfirm badass_vinch advice, listen to the man! Nangyari din sa akin yang muscle loss during my first cut. Yun yung experiment time ko with 5x5 and IF. I got too aggressive with low calorie and low carb, ayun, kasama muscles.

    I was wiser during my 2nd cut though and did exactly what was said above. How I wish I would have been advised the same too during my first cut. Oh well, shit happens. You learn from your mistakes, aight?

    ^had mistakes during my first cut and kala ko that time macho ako taena kakapikon payat ko nun lalo na pag nakikita ko itsura ko sa picture I was wearing the emperor's clothes.

    But this time around, I have more mass to cut from and I'm not rushing things. Thanks brah!

    Brah kaya mo yan, just hit a healthy pointish pound or 1 lb per week weight loss para fats/water lang ang nawala sayo..

    Sana ako makapag success sa fist LG cutting ko.. So far strength is now shooting up again , easy smooth squats ako ngayon despite of the slight surplus on workout days and large deficit on rest days. ( even though hindi ko naman na achieve na 100% ang macros ko hehe )

    Good luck sa cut brah, take it from the experts from them hehe...

    ^can take all the guidelines brah but still it boils down to what I look in the mirror/feeliing even if its 2 or 3 lbs per week as long as I'm not losing that much muscle mass i'm still fine.

    greatest mistake I did was cutting without any mass to cut from. I look like shit.

    Worse brah, for girls it's fine but in retrospective I look like I don't even lift hahahahaha. We all gonna make it brah!

    Hit chest/biceps. Felt damn good drop sets andun ung malakas na bantay kaya kampante ako hehehe.

    Cheat day today pero not the crappy food. More on 5fried chicked breasts at nagkanin lang. Sana di umulan bukas at makapag cardio.

    Wt: 165lbs

    Incline DB 80lbs DBs = 160
    Seated 70dbs = 140

    sam kami ni monch ng stats sa DB shoulder press. that shows how strong he is on this lift!

    Nauubos lakas ko sa pag clean ng db paangat sa 55's and 60's lol pano ba iangat yon without expending too much energy

    tama si sir milk, kung pansinin mo din ung sa vid ko ganun din ginagawa ko. Momentum based lang sa pag angat biglain pero dapat siguraduhin na kaya yung bubuhatin or else injury ang kakaratnan natin.

    ^ung rc warmup paps ginagawa mo ba? ung warmup ni DY sa blood and guts? un lang ginagawa ko the whole year before any wokrout kahit legs i think na rehabilitate din dun.

    oo lage ako nag RRC warmup ask mo si sir milk, matagal warmup ko kase need uminit ng shoulders ko, pag mainit na cya lumuluwag nawawala ung nafefeel kong kakaiba. malupit ako mag warmup hahaha!

    Did shoulders today dito sa bahay since sarado sa gym. Bitin sa gamit pero at least good workout pa din

    Just think of it this way, it is a hell lot better than no exercise at all! Hahaha! :twitcy:

    Pag sarado gym and I really want to workout, ganyan din ginagawa ko. In my case though, I just do bodyweight exercises. That way, you still keep the body moving instead of just lounging around and doing nothing.
