Cardio exercise in house

can anyone give me indoor exercises for me to lose weight?
If possible exercises that dont have equipments but one equipment that I have is a 10lbs dumbbell but i dunno how to use it.

    Pwede kaw magtaas baba sa hagdan.

    Maglinis linis.

    Squats.

    Stationary running.

    Jumping jack.

    Push ups.

    Sa dumbbell, depende yan. Ilang taong gulang ka na ba? And what weight mo po?

    Sobrang gaan kasi ng 10 lbs for me. I'm 25 5'9" eh.

    Do the mountain climber exercise.

    I do this at 2 to 4 sets, 100 reps - 3 counts per rep.

    Boss Matt san po ba location niyo , what about jogging have you considered doing it ?

    Are you also new/first time to such activity or fitness?

    Hi Matt...Welcome to PBB..:)

    I like riverflow and chikinito's suggestions, mountain climber is a good one, it's a plyometric exercise that works mainly the quads but targets other muscle as well(hamstring,chest, shoulder)

    not to mention it effectively burns fat especially in the midsection...

    Also try doing burpees, very effective exercise for fat loss.

    But nothing beats going out(just like jerielm said) and doing your cardio there, for space is the number one enemy indoors.

    Unless if you have Ayala,Sy or Tan as your Last name..:D

    try mo yung stationary jogging..ok din yun..tapos jumping jack ng hardcore...(walang gastos to hehe)

    KAYA MO YAN. wag mong sabihin di mo kaya! :)) hahaha
    you dont even need a jump rope, mag "shadow" jump rope ka nalang :D then go on your own pace, tapos taasan mo intensity, tapos go on a slow pace ulit... etc. :D

    Yung take it easy sa una sa mountain climber kasi higher level of energy level yan.

    Ganito po, example sa 1 rep lang. Count 1 - 2 - 3 = 1st rep , 1 - 2 - 3 = 2nd rep 1 - 2 - 3 = 3rd and so on. You can vary the speed to go higher intensity.

    Very effective yan, nung marathoner, triath pa ako malaki natulong sa akin nyan.

    Try the "100 burpee challenge"....

    then post your time..

    Actually hindi ko alam ang right procedure for stationary running.

    All i do try to emulate running ng ndi gumagalaw sa lugar. Tapos yung tuhod ko ginagalaw ko as high as I can. Mey sinunod lang akong program sa Men's Health dati eh.

    Super nakakapagod stationary running when you try to run as fast as you can.

    Pero best advise ko for cardio workout is running.

    Punta ka sa sports thread dito. I just started running.

    Ang sarap. Ako every next day tumatakbo ako for 30 minutes. Nung una hindi ko kayang straight takbo. Ngayon matindi na ang endurance ko.. (Matindi kesa dati.. Hehehe).

    Medyo ilang lang sa una kasi tumatakbo ako sa highway tapos wala akong kasama.

    Ngayon pag tumatakbo ako, parang kilala na ako ng mga security guard na nadadaanan ko sa mga companies. Hehehehe.. Pag dadaan ako may sisigaw na lang na "Jogging!"

    Try mo lang kung ilan makakaya mo. And then gradually increase araw araw. Ako habit ko ung i-train to point of exhaustion pero not to point na mahihilo nako sa pagod.

    I just like to hear my hearbeat na malakas pero mejo hilo konti.

    It works for me.

    It takes a lot of discipline though. Maraming beses na rin ako tinamad. Pag napunta ka sa point na yun. Watch ka lang clips sa youtube ng ibang body builders. After mo manood para kang lalakas. Hehehe.. Try mo lang. Might work for you too.

    Uy, di enough ang exercise kung kain ka rin ng kain ha. Ayusin mo rin diet mo.

    Ako usually balikan lang. 15 mins palabas then 15 mins pabalik.

    Iba iba schools of thought pagdating sa diet eh.

    Meron magsasabi dapat maraming beses kain pero konti lang. Usually 5-6 meals na konti lang.

    Kung mag fruits ka lang sa meal ang tendency magugutom ka agad. My doctor advised dati na kumain ng protein rich na pagkain kasi matagal daw matunaw yun sa stomach kaya matagal din magutom agad.

    Kaya kapag meryenda, I go for kwekwek, mani or cashew nuts. Wag fried sa mani or cashew ha. Pag no choice kaw pwede mo lagay sa napkin para madrain taba.

    Pag meal, I go for 2 orders ng siomai and half rice.

    Pangit nagugutom kapag may klase. Wala ka matututuhan.

    Kaso mauumay ka naman kung puro siomai di ba? (Pero ako ndi ako nauumay) Hehehe.. Go for grilled food kasi less ang fat.. Usually. And then, better ang chicken sa pork. Pag chicken eat mo yung breast part. Iwas sa wings kasi yun ang pinaka matabang part. Wag ka na rin eat ng balat kung super strict ka sa diet. Ako kinakain ko balat kasi nasasarapan talaga ako. Hehehe.

    Pag mag 3 meals ka lang talaga mag almusal ka ng heavy and then pakonti ng pakonti. Pinakakonti ang dinner.

    Pag almusal para matagal bago ka magutom, mag 3 itlog kaw. I go for hard boiled egg na may konting asin para di nakakaumay. Tapos ihahalo ko yan sa rice i-jumble jumble ko. Sarap nun. Hehehe..

    Dati nag siomail diet ako 1 week. Hehehe.. Puro siomail lunch and dinner. Epektib! Natry ko lang. ^_^

    Di kaya ang reason kaya ka laging gutom eh acidic ka pati? Nung high school kasi ako, I had to eat every 3 hours dahil acidic ako. This included sleeping hours. Nagigising ako kasi kumukulo ang tyan ko. Pag ganun iwas ka sa citrus fruits like oranges, dalandan, pineapple.. Actually, most fruits acidic..

    Ako nag siomai diet ako ng 3 straight weeks dati, couple with at least 30-60 mins sa gym. I lost fats ang gained muscles!

    Iwas din sa softdrinks, chocolates, alcohol drinks

    Diet mode ako ngayon target ko magka abs e...

    breakfast - 1 rice + ulam syempre dapat my itlog
    lunch - sandwich lang (dapat may protein ung palaman - chicken breast the best) + banana
    miryenda - mani (ung luto ha) hehehe!
    dinner - no rice at all talaga, minsan papak lang ako ng gulay o ulam (isda, beef, canned tuna, chicken etc.) + fruits

    In between nag whey din ako lalo na pag mag gym na.
    Pag nag grocery bili ka ng chicken breast fillet ayos na ayos un.

    ung threadmill kasi dito na binili ng pinsan ko eh mag lakad kalang tagatak na pawis mo..ok lang kaya yun kahit di masyado jog?
