Bicep Tendon Tear from Deadlifts

Mga boss, ever heard of this kind of injury... I was browsing stiff leg deadlift proper form videos on youtube and I saw this vid.. Kinilabutan ako kasi ayoko ng mga ganito, ayoko makapanod ng injury at higit sa lahat, ayoko mangyari to sa akin kasi ayoko tumigil magbuhat.. Guys bakit nangyayare tong injury na to sa deadlift?

Mix grip yung ginawa niya kaya siya naa injured ganun ba yun?

    hindi ko mapanuod d2 sa office...pero napanood ko na yan cguro:huh

    mix grip( yung hawak parang sa baseball bat )
    kinilabutan din ako nung napanood ko yan..winasiwas pa nga braso nya kasi may naramdaman syang kakaiba...kakatakot kaya sana wala ng mangyaring ganyan:sleepy:

    nabasa ko sa net na need pala nyan ng surgery at general medication..

    kase hinila nya using biceps, w/c is diba nga, stationary lng dapat ang arms, the pushing will be on your legs.

    so para palang binarbell curl nya sa kamay na pinag under hand grip nya kaya ganun...
    kaya pala hehe... nakakakilabot eto pa isa

    Wag mo mamasamain ang sasabihin ko Bro pero kung hindi ka handa magka injury at one point, I suggest you stay at home. This sport is not safe at all no matter how perfect your form is, once you're lifting heavy weights there is a possibility that something can go wrong.

    ahh may possibility talaga paps na mainjury kahit proper form?
    sabagay ang sakin lang kasi mahirap yung matigil hehe.
    pero kung ganun na nga paps so be it nalang kasi gusto ko din talaga tong sport na to.. nanggaling na din sa inyo na matagal na sa sports na to.

    Yes, I've had my fair share of injuries and still have one lingering injury until now pero kaya naman bumuhat. The thing is pag nagka injury ka (depends on the severity) you should start to rehab that injured part. Hinid yung titigil mo lang abruptly since that will make it worse.

    Nung nagka torn soleus calf muscle ako gusto ng doctor ipa cast daw. Isip isip ko naman bakit i-cast eh hindi naman ako nabalian ng buto? So I did my own research, consulted my former coach and I was able to heal it on my own.
  • ganyan talaga, pag mabigat na ang buhat, ung dati pa na injury ko sa delts, nararamdaman ko padin, sabi nga ng pt pa xray ko daw kase baka nag kalaman na, hindi sa natatakot akong mag pa xray at pagamot, natatakot ako baka kse sbihn wag ako mag buhat ahhaahha!

    sorry sir hindi ko kasi alam na pwede maiwasan ang injury sa pag execute ng tama ng bawat exercises... to be honest, newbie palang kasi ako kaya hanggat sa maari gusto ko makaiwas sa mga ganun para mapagpatuloy ko pa yung pagbubuhat at maabot ko yung mga goals ko..

    sa dalwang Vid. na-pinost
    pansin ko parehas mixed grip ung gamit
    so "mas" ba ung mixed grip?
    malakas at maganda ung grip mo,pag mixed grip ung gamit,pero mas mataas rin ba ung tendency ma-bicep tear ka?

    nagdadalawang isip na rin kase akong gumamit ng "mix grip"
    baka palitan ko,overhand na siguro ung pra-practisin ko
