Hehehe actually sir pwede mo naman subukan kaso ganyan talaga leangains eh, either you will split it to whatever you like basta nasa loob ng 8hrs feeding window mo at yung largest meal mo is after heavy intense workout.. So, nalabas as long as nasa macros mo yung dami ng carbs hindi sya magiging fat where as yung nga nagrerestore yung body mo using carbs intake hehe...

blah blah , matagal ko na kinakain mga to hehe nageenjoy na nakakalungkot ako.. because im a fan of eating in one sitting... tamad ako magdagdag :D

Did some searching on Google, Press used to be the king of upper body exercise. It was dropped as an Olympic Lift in 1972. Is it also true that doing just the bench press (no press at all) will create muscle imbalance on the shoulders ?

I have also noticed that in the gym where I regularly workout, very very few people do the Press. If ever I see one, it's just half reps (the bar going down to ear level only). Most people favor seated dumbbell overhead press and front/lateral raises

I have just included the Press in my training program for about a month now.

I am always doing press and always learning the form.. Ang dami kasing style neto.
  • pacoy1002pacoy1002 Posts: 538
muscle imbalances on shoulders doing only bench presses I would guess YES........kasi you're hitting front delts most of the time. just my guess...
i've seen alot of 'em w/ big front delts and no rear..its ugly.

    +1 sa press 101
  • nrg500nrg500 Posts: 1,233

question lang, ano ba ang tama ?

press helps in increasing your bench press

    or

bench press helps in increasing your press

  • JettieJettie Posts: 3,763
ang alam ko based on rippedbody.jp site ng mga results page nun may mga aged 40+ dun, same intense workout RPT pero yung nutrition side alalay..

Pero normally halos parehas lang eh.

actually same lang naman training nyan. mag kakatalo or magkakaiba lang naman yan sa explosiveness, diet, supplementation at sa rest days. depende din sa katawan ng 40 -50yrs old, kase meron ako kilala 60yrs old na pero parang 40yrs old padin gumalaw.

i think sir pacoy will agree with me here...and probably most of you will later on when you reach our age...specially you started with BB early...he he he

though many will say that age is just a number, but somehow may mga physical limits na ang body namin compared to the younger ones....but my friends and contemporaries, (di sa pagmamayabang) they all agree that i look a bit younger than my age...if not for the gray hair here and there, some refuse to believe that i'm almost half a century old....(maybe because most of them wala ng buhok....ha ha ha)

i even tried working out one body part once a week...pero feeling ko bitin (maybe because i'm not lifting as heavy as you guys)

Thanks sir dalts for the comment...basta tuluy-tuloy lang to, slowly but surely...sabi nga, the road to fitness is not a race, its a lifestyle....

ang nakita ko lang nag bebenta is reebok (sa eastwood ko nakita) Contact no: (+63 2) 584-7903

forgot the price, more than 5k ata. nag fit ako and comfortable and stable naman. Its not the typical tight heel nang mga common W-shoes. Eto may play nang konti (due to crossfit style lifts).

Sa nike moa, u can make special order, will take 2-3 weeks.

Parang fit sa inyo yung Reverse Pyramid training along side with a good nutrition plan.
Kasi sa RPT eh naka reserve talaga yung muscles and slowly but surely may gains talaga.. like :

Monday is Deadlift day or 2 - 3 compound exercises.
Wed is Bench Press plus 2- 3 compound ulet
Friday is Squat day with 1-2 compound.

Keep it a slow phase lang.

  • XbrainXgainXbrainXgain Posts: 818
@jettie and sir dalts natry ko narin magchucks. Haha.

@Sir braso salamat! I'll check it out soon. :)

Watch CT Fletcher on you tube and you'll feel way younger afterwards. Parehas lang naman kasi Sir not unless you have a medical condition that would be detrimental to your training and progress.
