IMO, maganda kung hindi doble yung exercise. Like for example kung nag barbell flat bench press na, wag na mag dumbell flat bench. Ang ginagawa ko alternate silang dawa like this chest day barbell ako, next naman dumbell, or next mixed. Yung sa akin kasi inclined, flat, declined, tapos one-two random exercise from: flat or inclined dumbbel flies/high or low cable cross overs / smith machine / pec deck.

If you're a noob, doing flat BP is enough, but if you're intermediate - advanced lifter then flat DB press has it's purpose an why there's need for you to do it even after doing flat BP.

If I may ask why do you do all the angles in BP (flat, incline, decline)? What's the purpose of doing different angles?

ako pag nag hit nako ng flat i dont hit decline anymore.

this is exactly my case, medyo di pantay yung chest ko...mas malaki ng konti yung right...
thats why i do both BB & DB presses....

I see.

Ang alam ko 2 parts lang ang chest which are Pectoralis Major Clavicular (Upper Chest) & Sternal Head (Lower Chest). Yung Inclined press is for Upper while Flat and Declined presses are for Lower. Yung post ko po above is not in particular order. I mix them up para hindi lang ako masanay sa sunod sunod nilang ayos but ALWAYS yung declined ko is placed sa last part. Parang sort of cool down na lang since hindi ako nagheheavy dito. I know it sounds useless and waste of time pero for me gusto ko yung pwesto niya.

If the chest has 2 parts then why does the entire chest area move at the same time when you flex it?

Sa pagkakaalam ko although may 2 parts siya (pectoralis major and minor) they mostly move as one muscle group. If you would look at the movement of tge muscles in the link you gave, parehas sila halos. Nagkaiba lang sa abduction and adduction (raising and lowering), flexion and extension (bending and straightening of the joint).

Barbell for size and dumbell for definition. If you wanna get big use barbells and pag satisfied kana sa size ng chest mo dumbells para bumilog.

I think muscle definition is revealed by lowering your bodyfat to 12% or lower

NYAHAHA

  • pacoy1002pacoy1002 Posts: 538
