do you let the bar touch your chest when doing bench press? im doing 140lbs but my instructor told me dont let the bar touched my chest baka mainjured daw shoulders ko?

ay yung fast twitch,wala bibilisan lang ang pag pump para wag masyado ma bigatan at lumabas ang muscle fiber. ang haba kasi at may mha table yung sa magazine about fast twitch. mag eencode pa ako sa excel para ilagay dito huhuhu google niyo na lang
at pwede rin ata mag touch kung may spotter,kung baga kung daliri niya ang didikit sa dibdib mo. (sana babae mgpa spot) lol

na observed ko lang po kung bakit hindi namention na dapat nakacurved ang back natin while doing bench press? pag mali po ako, paki correct na lang po.thanks.

imo, kaya ang iba curve yung back nila dahil they "squeeze" their back, in this way mas mastretch mo maxado pecs mo in "eccentric phase" or negative phase, ito ung paglower ng bar sa chest. kpag nakacurve ung back mo, syempre chest out ka. yun ang maganda. but still depende na ren sa tao qng saan cla komportable, may iba ndi na nagccurve at may result naman, may iba nagccurve at ganun din.
tapos another tip, kpag nasa "concentric phase", pataas yung bar, make sure na wag mo lower yung chest mo pagdating sa peak, kc once ni lower mo chest mo, shoulder na ang apektado nun, at pwede ka ma injury. try mo benchpress with lighter weights lng, tingnan mo difference ng lower yung chest sa higher chest.
wag ka malito ha, nagresearch aq, may iba nagsasabi ndi daw tama yung nagccurve yung likod dahil ndi na stable yung ktawan mo sa bench, yun lng.
so advise ko q lng, qng ano man gs2 mo gawin, extra careful na lng. like i said, depende sa tao yan qng saan nasanay.
