Pa welcome po.
Tanong ko na din po if safe uminom ng powdered protein like Promatrix Mass, mataas po kase ang bad cholesterol ko saka nag hihigh blood di ako 29 years old na po ako,nag didiet na ako ngayon iwas sa mga matatabang pagkain at nag babawas din ng rice, puro oatmeal lang ako at prutas. Gusto kong uminom nun para naman magkalaman ako, 29 years old na ako pero ang katawan ko parang pang 17 years d lang, 53 kgs ako at 5"2 ang height.

i dont know exactly about promatrix kasi parang may nabasa ako na parang nabanned sha dahil sa isang ingredient pero ngayon pwede na? (someone correct me if im wrong. i dont know the whole story) but whey as a whole is good for you and can lower blood pressure.
para sakin lilimitahan ko lng ang fruits ko to around 25 grams of sugar per day to avoid insulin spike. maybe 1 or 2 bananas a day. caution din sa whey na may matatamis na flavor, may sugar din yun, isama mo sa computation ng sugar intake mo per day.
There's is nothing wrong sa pag inum ng protein powder, pero hindi yun pampalaman :-), supplement lang yan eh. Kung guto mo magkalaman, kain ka ng whole food at since ang concern mo is yung cholesterol mo paps, you should eat the right food para mabawasan yan. Tama yang ginagawa mo oatmeal at prutas. By the way nag wwork out ka ba?

papi, they are now finding out that cholesterol is a non issue, ang triglycerides or 3 sugar molecules ang culprit as well as high blood sugar....this is how it works, sugar is toxic, too much insulin damages the artery walls, once you become diabetic, it taxes the kidneys, which causes high blood pressure, if that happens, di malayo ang enlargement of the heart, the heart is also a muscle, pag na-wo-workout too much, like from high pressure, it becomes muscular also or enlarge, which is not a good thing..

parang napaisip ako sa napanuod ko ah may lahi kase kaming diabetes at mataas ang glucuse ko, pero napababa ko siua after 3 months nung nag stop alo umimom ng soft drinks.
hindin po ako nag wowork out pinaka exercise ko lang ay jogging in place for 30 minutes hanggang pawisan ng sobra, minsan sinasamahan ko ng push up. Nakakahiya kase mag gym, sabihin ang liit liit ko.

Wow! Kakainspire naman yung journal nya, maybe someday. But for now sa bahay muna ako sariling sikap like what he did when he was just starting.
