Newbie Here. Need Some Advice

Good Evening po.

Matagal na akong nagbabasa dito to learn some knowledge about bodybuilding. Bata palang ako payat(skinny fat) na ako. Tumaba lang ako nung around 2nd yr. hs ako. Pero madali din akong pumayat after nun. So nung nag college naman po ako IT ang napili kong course since yung nga ang in demand that time(until now). Kaya nung nag college ako lalo na napasama ang health ko cause of lack of sleep dahil sa projects(as in walang tulog). Kaya nung bakasyon nung isang taon nag balak ako mag gym(about 3 months din). Pero nung pasukan na ulit hindi ko na nasisingit yung pag ggym ko nun. Kasi baka mapasama lalo ako kung mag bubuhat ako tapos wala din tulog. But this school year may oras na ako kasi major subjects nalang tinatake ko. Kaya nung July 18 nag start ulit ako mag gym. About 3 months na rin po ako nag bubuhat ngayon at sana wala ng makapipigil pa sakin cause I love the result. Lalo na sa health ko. Wala ng hilo-hilo kapag gigising ako.

Weight:From 53kg - now 56kg

Everyday nag coconsume po ako ng abou 2kcals at 120-170g of protein. Is it too much to consume this amount of protein? Kasi po nababasa ko dito .8g of protein per lbs ang dapat lang iconsume and I go to gym 4-5 days a week.

    Oo nga po. Tanong ko lang po sir troll, possible ba na mag gain ng muscle while decreasing body fat? Or talagang sacrifice muna na mag gain ng bf then cut nalang sa cal intake after?

  • yes, its possible, they call it body recomposition, just stay in a deficit and let you fat be the fuel, but keep your protein high so there in ample supply for the muscles to feed on..

    For my weight of 126 lbs, okay na po ba yung protein intake ko na 120-170g of protein? About naman po sa cal deficit, gaano kababa po dapat ang matake kong cals and will I still gain weight from that? Sorry po kung madaming tanong.

  • protein? it depends on your target weight, example, you want to be 150lbs at 10% bf, 135g will do..in terms of calories, at your weight, better start at maintainance, chk mo sa mirror ang mid section, if youre adding weight without adding inches sa mid section, add ka konting cal, the more lean mass you gain, mag a-add ka talaga ng calories, your maintainance calories will increase kasi...get mo paps?

    Opo sir troll medyo gets ko. So bali yung protein intake ko lang po ang tataasan ko then maintain lang ako sa 2k cals to build muscle while reducing bf? Kasi nung 1st 2 months ko about 2.5kcals yung nacoconsume ko kaya nag gain ako ng weight at bf. Btw ano po yung ibig sabihin mo dun sa mid section? Yung chest area po ba?

    Opo sir nag gagamit po ako nun. Pero di ko alam na may recommended cals dun for cutting etc.. Tingnan ko po ngayon. Maraming salamat po :smiley:
