Whey Protein with Pure Cardio Workout Program

Good day everyone:D

I just want to ask if I still need to take whey protein before or after workout if my workout program is purely cardio (30-45 mins, 6 times a week).

    theres no harm taking protein shakes even if your program is to just lose weight. but then again why not train normally with weights? its much better if you do them both to achieve a much more pleasing physique.

    I plan to do some weight training in the near future. I am just looking for program wherein i will enroll in a gym membership or buy a dvd program which i can do at home

    anyway, at least i know that my protein drink is into good use:D

    Mas ideal ang real food. Maganda lang whey Kasi ideal xa post workout kc mblis maabsorb pero mas maganda parin yung real food

    lageng tandaan na supplements lng mga yan, kpag nagrely ka sa whey protein as your main source, wala din mangyayari sau, kulang paren yung protein supply ng katawan mo, kaya ang natural food ay wag kalimutan.

    as stated by Dorian Yates di mo naman magagawa magprepare ng food every two hours, pwera na lang pag tambay ka sa bahay, kaya youll really need supplements if youre trying to build or preserve muscles.

    diskarte lng tol, qng nasa work ka, sa gabi palang magpakulo ka na ng itlogs o chicken breast, tapos kainin sa umaga at baunin sa trabaho o kya nman magbaon ng sandwich na may peanut butter, tuna sandwich, meron n ngaun yung century tuna spread, every 3 hrs dapat ang pagkaen, kc yung 2 hrs digestion palang un, since mga real foods kakainin mo, ndi nman un mga fast acting proteins tulad ng whey protein kya kahit nakalipas ka ng meal, may supply paren katawan mo ng protein dahil sa eggs/chicken/sandwich at qng ano pang meals.

    Meal frequency and timing is irrelevant. What's important is you hit your macro's and daily calo intake at the end of the day. Eating x number of times doesn't stoke your metabolism also. This is one of the biggest myths in the weightlifting world.

    ^ totoo sir mighty? kasi ako every 2-3 hrs bago kumain e, ngayon late na tulog ko dahil may last meal pa ko 4eggs and tuna. 5-6meals ako, 10am onwards lagi gising ko

    ^Isipin mo lang may kinakain tayo na isang box na pizza everyday. Yung size ng pizza depende na yun sa goal natin kung cal surplus o deficit. Kahit i-slice mo yung pizza into 4, 8 or even 12 it doesn't matter. Bottomline you need to consume that 1 box of pizza everyday.

    Eating should be enjoyable and not become a task.

    = comment ko lang po about cal surplus. pag nag preserved po tayo ng muscles kailangan po natin ma-hit ang 1-1.5 gram of protein per bodyweight, kaya po na nahahati into 5-6 meals a day. IMHO

    ok lang po ang 5-6 or 3 meals a day. as long na ma spread evenly ang protein intake ninyo according sa weight ninyo. for me, meal timing and frequency is second to my list, 1st to my list is my protein intake. IMHO

    I suggest din pagtiyagaan mo bilangin ung macros mo, ako binilang ko ung sakin I couldnt believe kulang ako sa calories sa dami ng kinakain ko. hehehehehe

    Kahit isa nga eh pwede. sabi din ni DY ang advantage lang ng pagkain ng ever 2hours is to remind yourself na you need to eat pero wala naman pinagkaiba un sa normal na pagkain lang.

    yes sir alam ko daily macros ko and cal intake, ang di ko lang kaya yung pressure sa oras. pag wala sa bahay nagccram kasi para lang matarget yung 2-3hrs.

    I would agree to sir mighty and monching w/ this. I used to believe that meal frequency "increases" my metabolism but apparently i was proven wrong. why? i tried eating only 3-4 times a day while i am in keto for my cutting phase, wala naman nangyari sa mucsles ko as long i get to hit my daily macros well enough. another proof of that is the Intermitent fasting diet w/c gamit ni sir mighty ngaun mahaba ang time windows nun na walang laman ang tyan nung dieter.

    IMHO, My take on the benefit that you could get on having higher meal frequencies daily is sa bulking. for it will allow you to distribute the "big" meals to become medium to small ones. kasi common na prob sa mga nagbubulk na maliit ang kaha (i mean tummy) they can't seem to eat the big meals and make it fit in one sitting kaya tendency, nde nla ma-hit minsan ung calorie surplus because they would still feel so full dun sa last meal nila so in short they tend not to eat muna until makalimutan na ang kelangan nilang calories for the day. but then again like mighty and monching said, at the end of the day it's all about hitting your macros right. wala sa "dami ng beses kumain" nasa "dami ng kinakain maghapon" :)

    tama ka sir.as long you hit your macros ok yan, im in if too, 3 to 4x lang ako kumain, pero i make sure that sakto ang protein and calories ko, pero pag cheat day, eh walang pake alamanan! hahahah!
  • ahaha tomoh! ako din pag carb-up days ko sa keto unstoppable ako LOL. figuratively lang but i try to monitor what i eat pa din i just indulge lang on some "sinful" foods pag carb load pro never pa naman ako nag gain ng fat after carb-load hehehe

  • oo nga naalala ko na naman ung "boodle" day nyu. pinakita ko nga sa kaopisina ko yun at naiingit sila LOL!
