Raw or Cooked

Hi guys,

Tanong lang sa mga nagka count ng calories lalo na sa mga nag we-weigh ng food intake nila particularly sa meat;

How do you weigh your food, RAW or COOKED?

pag cooked kasi mas less na yung weight nya compared pag hilaw pa. Probably dahil madi drip down yung water weight nung meat. 

additional na tanong; 

for example lang...may 30g protein sa 140g na chicken breast RAW.... 
pag niluto mo yun magiging 100g chicken breast na lang ung weight.. do you still count that as 30g protein intake o you need to add another 40g of cooked chicken para masabi mong 30g protein ung intake mo?


Just started counting my macros and focusing on what i eat.. sana mabigyang linaw nyo yung tanong ko..

    nahilo ako hahahaha, d ko mahanap. anyways, in simplest way , raw paps. always raw. nag vavary lang kasi sa cooking methods bumibigat, gumagaan, masmadaming water, mas natutuyo pero to be accurate raw tlga ang usual na pag timbang

    @BANE Salamat brader. hahaha mejo nalito kasi ako,

    kasi bumili ako ng 1 & 1/4 kilo ng chicken breast tas tinimbang ko ng raw per pc.. lumalabas nasa 120-140g range bawat isa... tapos after ko ilaga tinimbang ko uli, naging 100 - 120g na lang...

    ibig sabihin ba nun paps yung kinain ko na 100g cooked chicken, ang protein content nun is equivalent nung sa raw chicken na 140g which has 43g protein????

    ang basehan ko ng protein intake is yung raw at di yung cooked regardless kung ano mang timbang nya after maluto??? tama ba??

  • Yep yung protein content nya ay same before and after cooked :) Ang nawala lang sa kanya ay yung water content nya, kaya sya gumaan. Pero pareho lang ng protein content. Look at it this way - you won't measure your oats when it's cooked, right? So laging raw. Hehehe.
