musta mga tol! tanong lang ako if gaano kaeffective ang 5x5 training? im planning to start it tomorrow. been doing split training (e.g. chest/triceps, biceps/back, legs/shoulders) religiously for like a year now kaya naisip ko baka nasanay na katawan ko sa ganung klaseng training...

its good if youre trying to up your strength and will add decent amount of mass if done properly. theres nothing wrong trying new things so go ahead! have a great time getting strong!
alright thanks bro! yeah the program only consist of bench press, squats, row and deadlifts. looks to me that it will save me alot of time working out in the gym.
btw, the last time you used this kind of training what do u usually do during your rest days? do you devote it mainly to cardio and abs? or just lifting lightweights? i usually workout 6days every week except saturday coz my class schedule wont allow it. and based from the 5x5 program i have to workout only 3times a week rest in between...so right now im wondering what to do during the rest days.
