i agree you can do it on the early stages pero hassle na yan mga 1 month above. ginawa ng friend ko yan kasi kahit di sya nag bubuhat tlga malakas ung pangangatawan nya so ung starting weight nya sa olybar with plates di challenging so 10 lagi inaad nya. ayun sumuko pag dating ng 3rd week, then nag stick na sya sa 5lbs nalang
too bad at mukha kang walang choice... pero pde mo itry at see kung hangang san ka dadalhin ng SL. My SL5x5 experience ay 10lbs load every workout kasi SAME situation walang 2.5lbs plate na available. I hit my plateau in 2 months time but nalampasan ko din un with my current program sa PUSH/PULL/Leg.
Kung no choice ka talaga... then go for it pa din.

I dont think 10-20lbs will matter sa mga unang weeks kasi in reality gingauge pa ng katawan mo yung totoo mong lakas. Most start too light, some start too heavy and some with manageable poundage. If nagstall ka ng maaga, I think that's a good sign na narealize mo agad yung lakas mo instead of waiting a few weeks bago mo mareach yun. Example, pwede mo mareach ang 250lbs DL in 4 weeks or 8 weeks depende sa increments mo weekly (5lbs-20lbs). If you peak earlier the you have more time to either play with 250lbs for a few weeks (deload is optional) or improve on your assitance exercises in preparation for the next cycle.

deload is a short planned period of recovery and by doing this it will you propel you on to greater gym gains. In short, eto yung time na nagbabawas ka ng weight na binubuhat mo.
assistance exercises are movements the help you get better at your main exercises like squats is your main exercise then mga assistance mo ay calf raises, lunges, etc... it is something to support your main exercises.
