bodyweight training

anyone here engaged in just bodyweight training? ie no external weight training?

i've been trying hard to do pull ups (without kipping) and its really really hard. well can only do dead hangs and flex hangs for 30s but can do 0 pull ups :duh:

need advice on how to progress here... something you've done and experienced (NOT something that you've read or heard)

    I started with negative pull-ups :) try mo effective siya.

    kung may wrist strap ka gumamit ka muna nun nakakatulong yun :)

    ngayon kasi na typewriter ako sa chin / pull ups at masasabi ko malaki naitututlong sakin ng wrist strap at sana dumating time di ko na kelanganin hehehe

    Check for tips from Ross Enamait's site. I've seen him do one handers for reps. Advise ko siguro patience lang...mag aadapt din yung body mo. Start with assisted pull ups muna siguro (with elastic bands or with someone) then slowly work your way to unassisted naman.
