Is there such thing as lean bulk?

Your thoughts? Malapit na beach month e. Kaya kailangan maging sexy tayo as much as possible.

  • YES... BUT there is a big difference here pag newbie ka (say 6months-3yrs) versus veterans (5 years up).

    pag newbie ka, malaki ang chance mo sa lahat, strength gain, fatloss, mass gain, recomposition etc.

    Once your body has been there and done that or adapted to alot of things, it gets harder to achieve the same or better results.

    example:
    fatloss - from 300lbs obese, it's easier to drop to 200lbs & drop alot of fat kung consistent ka naman. once you hit a plateau on fatloss, suddenly lost ka na at stuck. Actually mas madami namomoblema na BB's on how to drop from 18-15%BF to 10-12%.

    muscle gain - from skinny ecto na 120lbs, nag-gain ng weight up to 150lbs (mostly muscle). while the gains are good, they still look thin with that frame. kaso after the newbie gains slowed down yung dating 30lbs muscle gain in 6 months - 1year e hindi na umandar. kahit 10lbs hirap maachieve.

    possible ang lean bulk, pero identify mo muna yung individual situation mo kasi walang one size fits all na approach or process dyan :)

    Paano po ba mag lean bulk? Nutrition din? Endomorph kasi ako.

    Normal naman kasi tumaba pag nag bbulk, gusto ko lang talaga maiwasan yun sobrang pag taba.

    Going back to my question, pano po ba mag lean bulk? at ok lang ba mag lean bulk sa akin? Wala pa kasi ako nababasang definite answer sa tanong ko.

    Try reading "body building revealed by will brink" this is a very good book. I think you can find all the answers to your questions in that book. :)
  • What i mean is, reality... and experience... because you cant google and read your way to a good physique. OO maganda magresearch but, mostly ng babasahin natin sa internet e yung mga positive things, probably 80% of the time yung ok lang babasahin natin at yung mga pangit e nilalagpasan (SAD BUT TRUE).

    Siguro ganito. Pero never ko pa na try tong gawin. Surplus on workout days and maintenance on rest days.

    Depende din ba sa body type or genes ang pag lean bulk?

    Dagdag ko na din. Yun barkada ko kasi dati hindi naman sya dumaan sa bulking phase (unti pa nga yun kinakaen nya dahil gusto nya daw ng abs) pero mabilis mag improve yun muscle growth nya.

    F*ck genes and body type, alot of people over the past decades have proven that it could be done naturally regardless of bodytype, genes or whatever. PATIENCE LANG.

    kung gusto mo magaya sa kaibigan mo magbuhat ka lang, go hard and heavy all the time and be consistent. that's how you'll get your NEWBIE GAINS :)

    tsaka clear mo muna sa sarili mo kung LEAN-BULKING ba ang naiisip mong solution, baka naman CUT-GAINING gusto mo (build muscle and cut fat simultaneously? :duh:).

    LEAN BULK = gain mass with minimal fat gain :)

    e pano kung mataas pa BF mo? kahit mag-gain ka ng lean mass with minimal fat kung initially mataas BF mo net result mo might be MORE LEAN MASS BUT SAME AMOUNT OF BF.

    LEAN BULK muna sir. Kasi iniisip ko yun process pag nag cut (most probably in 6 months time) na ako baka mas mahirapan or baka maubos yun muscle gains ko.

    Kaya ko lang naman gusto yun gawin kasi wala na akong maisuot na pang gimik ko dati. Puro pumuputok na dahil sa muscle at fat gains.

    Kumbaga factor dito yun physical appearance at self-esteem (problema to ng matataba gaya ko dati). Mahirap bumalik sa ganong katawan ulit.
  • gimik???? dederechohin na kita bro, sa situation mo ngayon wala ka sa position para magcome up with a program na beyond your level of understanding. Sorry, pero sa pagpapaganda ng katawan, meron talagang hierarchy na sinusunod or stages na dapat pagdaan. NEWBIE ka pa lang, kahit gayahin mo training at diet ni phil heath, or sa gym ka na tumira everyday.... that wont make you a Mr. Olympia.

    Those who want to take the easy way in BBing often get lost and start over again. Much worse is they get nowhere.

    Dami nagtatanong sakin about this pero iba iba lagi sagot ko kasi iba iba din ang variables involved.

    Di naman yun ibig ko sabihin. Naubosan lang kasi talaga ako ng mga pang alis dahil nga lumaki ako. Tiis ganda na lang muna. Tipid tipid na din sa pag bili ng damit at ilagay na lang sa pagkain at whey paminsan minsan.
  • yun na nga yun, conscious ka. naaapektohan ng ibang bagay yung goal mo na gumanda katawan. maiisip mo ba yang lean bulk kung hindi ka nagkaproblema sa isusuot mo sa gimik? mas malaki ka pa nga bago ka magbuhat diba. sa labas ka na lang ng bahay makipaginuman sa tropa para kahit walang tshirt ayos lang LOL :)

    Lahat ng personal kong kakilala na "lean bulk" , years ang ginugol para maachieve yang lean bulk na yan , ang tawag namin sa kanila ay mga taong " Batubato" :)

    matanong ko lang po, sa term na "lean bulk", halimbawa puro karne (chicken, beef, pork, turkey, fish, lamb) , gulay, prutas, lots whey protein and other supps like BCAA, creatine etc at kung ano ano pang pwede kainin na less fats palagi, palagay nyo mabibigyan kaya neto nang justice ang salitang "lean bulking"? Tapos halimbawa 2500cal ka dapat per day pero na meet mo sya eating those things stated above, mabigyan kaya ng justice? curious lang:blush:

    ^imo. Yes. As long as you keep your bf levels in-check. That would stll qualify as a lean bulk

    I have a friend na nag g-gym outside Phil, his shoulders and arms were big but he maintained a small waistline with abs. yung ba ang definition ng lean bulk?

    he has a washboard abs that really had my attention how he done it (tamad kc mag crunches). sagot lang nya is run.

    I guess it is possible to have a lean bulk body if you alternate cardio and weight lifting. tingin ko lang. :)

    Bro, different folks, different strokes :) Yung umuubra sa kanya pwedeng umubra sayo o hinde :)

    Pero kung desidido ka sa lean bulk, dapat tantya mo lahat ng kinakain mo. Pag sinabing 350g of protein per day dapat ganun. Then yung pahinga mo rin at training mo depende rin syempre :)

    Bukod sa grammar at pag pansin sa "seenzoned-seenzone" ano pa ba maibibigay mong tips dito sa forum na based on your experience naman?

    Yung crossfit? Natry mo na ba yun?

    pacencxa nag bigay ako ng tip about crossfit. kc yun yung uso sa US ngaun as way of losing fat and gaining strength at the same time..
    I've never tried it kc baguhan pa ako, but I am planning once I gain more strength, lalo ng stamina.

    as for tips I already did sa ibang thread.

    as for grammar, akala ko hindi importante dito as long as naaintindihan yung ibig sabihin.

    sa totoo lang, hindi ko talaga alam ang ibig sabihin ng seenzoned, akala ko two words as one na naging uso sa fb. ngaun ko lang encounter yan. and I don't mind about any grammar, my intention was being funny, not correcting. :) hindi cguro effective.
