Peanuts included in daily diet

mga sir is there anyone here that includes peanut as part of their daily diet?

curius lang kasi I've read articles okey daw mani to have a healthy fat..
baki kasi pag araw arawin may side effect..:blush:

  • Based on my exp last year for a month.

    Nagdagdag ako ng peanut sa diet ko because of the protein intake, hindi ko namonitor yung fat ng peanut. So nadagdagan taba ko where Im on a cutting phase. So nawala din pinaghirapan ko.

    For me Healthy fat is still fat. Just eat it in moderation kung ilang fat ang kelangan mo sa diet. :)

    Peanuts are staple in my diet. 100 grams everyday.

    For me Healthy fat is still fat. Just eat it in moderation kung ilang fat ang kelangan mo sa diet. :)

    I think carbohydrate is much more responsible for our bodyfat. Carb triggers the insulin levels to increase. imo

    I take P28 peanut butter(20g) now and almonds(15g). Siguro hindi ko lang natrack yung peanut na nakain ko in that month i think umaabot ng 200grams ng fat kinakain ko nun LOL masarap lagi ngumuya eh hehe. Yup actually Carb din talaga, nasobrahan lang ako ng peanut dati.
  • lahat ng sobra regardless kung anong macro will contribute to fat gain, even amino acids can spike insulin. Actually insulin is good IMO :)


    basta consider nyo lang kung anong klaseng peanuts kakainin nyo, kasi magkakatalo yan kung prito or nilagang mani. yung mga packed nuts minsan may extra grease pa nga to keep it moist. so aside from the fat in the peanuts may extra fat ka pa sa mantika :)

    Bottom line is moderation. In the end, what matter is the total calories you consumed within the day.

    Nuts are great to add good fats to our daily macros, but be very careful po sa amount kc its caloric dense talaga.

    I have 10~15 of almonds pala everyday. Mas prefer ko xa kesa sa peanut / p.butter :)

    ok ang peanuts naman pang curb ng cravings for food kaya perfect siyang snack if coupled with lots of fluids na up to 5kcal na drink

    pero kung kumakain ka out of boredom, wala kang kontrol sa dami ng makakain mo, dederetso sa taba yan

    Almonds are the best. Just make sure to buy raw almonds. Nakakabusog din which makes it perfect as a snack.
