    Bought the same foam roller (Trigger Point Performance's The Grid) but different color (camouflage). Got it from amazon for around $40.

    meron kaya locally?
  • hey i got the same foam roller from Chris Sports Cagayan de Oro around P1300 - 1400 ata if im not misaken sometime in August 2013. Its quite good kasi i was also very interested to try out a roller for mobility and stretching. it is always in my gymbag.really helpful i must say and a must have. this particular brand however is really for beginners tulad ko. in a few weeks of using it i kinda got used to it. there are other brands in chris sports na pang hardcore talaga which is like hard rubber/carbon almost like hard plastic but i thought it was too hard for me. this brand is good. everytime i use it before or after a workout i enjoy hearing all kindz of cracks. if im lucky i might be able to attach a photo below.

    Guys, saan makabibili dito sa Pinas ng Trigger Point Therapy GRID Foam Roller ($39.99 sa website ng Trigger Point Therapy) ?

    diameter = 5.5 inches
    length = 13 inches

    Mayroon akong nakitang ibang brand ng foam roller sa Chis Sports, SKLZ Trainer Roller @ Php 1,800

    diameter = 6 inches
    length = 24 inches

    Ok ba yung sa SKLZ ? Nagtataka lang kasi ako, mas mahaba kaysa dun sa Trigger Point pero same price lang

    Pero mukhang ok din yung Trigger Point dahil mas portable

    Thanks

    Edit:

    Ayon sa website ng respective brands, Chris Sports ang distributor ng SKLZ products at SportFit, Inc. naman ang distributor ng Trigger Point Therapy products. May showrooms ang SportFit sa Trinoma, SM MoA, Greenbelt 5, at Shangri-La

    Ang tanong ko na lang, ano ba, base sa experience nyo, ang mas ok in terms of usability/effectiveness ? 13 inches long or 24 inches long

    Salamat
  • i bought mine ata at Runnr for 2600. Chris Sports has it at the same price. They also have a clone that looks similar to that pero no printed tags. 1300 if I remember correctly.

    Really worth investing on one. I had mine for two years of use and abuse, both warmup and being on a tight duffel bag. Tibay!

    I'm actually thinking on buying one.. medyo tight budget lang ngayon since kailangan ko nang pera at lapit na kasal ko. baka early next year makabili na ko.
  • Though a foam roller helps, di naman zya ganun ka critical. Though personally, iba nga ang performance ko pag nagwarmup with a foam roller. Plus I tend to have less pain if I do a KB swing improperly. Anyway, congrats on the future wedding. Better pag aralan nyo na lang muna with future wifey mag massage. Same benefits lang naman pero at least masmasaya at masmasarap magpamasahe from an actual person than from a foam roller ehehe.

    Nakagawa ako sir, gamit ko PVC pipe and yoga mat. Pareho rin ginawa ko, wrapped it with duct tape. Ayun, nabasag din. Not sure if its the PVC pipe that's weak (i think about 4" diameter, used). Broke it while rolling my IT band.
  • R.O.X. in BGC has the Trigger Point brand. Ensayo has some of their own and a lot cheaper too.
