How long to rest from bodybuilding?

Hi guys, how long did you rest from lifting weights? I plan to rest for around 1.5 to 2 months.

What do you do while resting? What supplements do you take? I plan to bulk up on this rest period as well.

    1-2 days off every week
    1 week every off every 6 months

    Dont rest that long,maxadong mahaba ung pahinga na yan
    Maapektohan ung lofting stats mo,
    Lalo na ung grip mo,maniwala ka sakin

    On rest periods?
    Stretching,reading books,updating lifting stats,planing,
    Jogging,more books,
    Supps?
    Whey protein

    What kind of operation did you undergo?

    I am hoping na I can be fully recovered in 1.5 mos time din.

    yup mga 1.5 I think ok na yan. pero kelangan conditioning phase muna at di ka agad agad mag heavy sa unang pagtapak muli sa gym.
  • My last workout before my surgery and go back after 2 months of rest and bulking. Goal from 150lbs to 170lbs.

    Squats - 230lbs 3x5
    DL - 250lbs 3x5
    BB Shrugs - 250lbs 15x3

    Ako after routine or cycle pahinga siguro ako mga 1 week :D

    1.5 to 2months na walang gym ikakakamatay q, mas effective na magbulk ka habang nag bubuhat minimum of 6months ka mag bulkup para effective tlga
  • Well according to me long break is not good for bodybuilders so it is good to do just 7 days break. One week is enough for break. Anyhow thank you all for sharing your ideas.

    sir ask ko lang nagstop kasi ako magbuhat almost 5 months, gusto ko sana continue ulit this summer need ko pa po bang magstart ulit ako sa mababang weight lifting?

    you could probably do the same routine that you used to do...but definitely, mukhang bababa ang lifting stats mo nyan...

    i had a 2-week break because of a work-related travel, pag balik ko hirap ako buhatin yung weight that i was already lifting...nagbawas ako from 5-10 lbs...
