Setup my own home gym. A power cage, olympic bar and plates, tractor rubber matting, adjustable bench, 4 ft punching bag.

Started SL 5x5 last January, I can say that my gains (both strength and physique) are way better over the years I've been in lifting. Maybe the focus and consistency are the main reasons why I got those results.

I am thinking of continuing SL 5x5 or try other strength programs available. Please send me suggestions what to do next, etc. Thanks in advance.

    Ok na ako bro. I may look payatot pero getting stronger sa target ko below. Mahirap kumain ng kumain magastos hehe. Clean diet kase talaga ako.

  • Sa mga masters, is it advisable to bulk even though I can only go to gym twice a week, tapos Sat-Sun pa?

    Anong recommended routine ninyo if ever?

    Current routine:
    Sat - DL & Squat
    Sun - BP & MPress

  • Earlier Lifting stats:

    Squat 160lbs 3x6 (No increase from last week)
    DL 190lbs 3x6 (10lbs increase from last week)
  • BPress 130lbs 3x6 (No increase from last week)
    MPress 70lbs 3x6 (No increase from last week)

    Medjo exhausted ako masyado sa MT training ko, kaya nag-increase ung lift ko.
  • Yesterday's lift. Yeah hinde ako pumasok (SL) during payday.

    Squat 170lbs 2x6 180lbs 1x6
    DL 190lbs 1x6 210lbs 2x6
  • Earlier lift.

    BP 140lbs 3x6
    MP 70lbs 1x8 80lbs 2x6
  • Missed my lift for last week, slightly injured my left knee and had weird stomach ache makes me really uncomfortable.

    Need to bounce back this week.

    Starting to read SL 5x5. I really need to fix my schedule to do this routine.Lifting stats last weekends:

    Squat: 170lbs 1x6 180lbs 1x6 190lbs 1x6
    DL: 170lbs 1x6 190lbs 1x5 1x4

    BP: 130lbs 3x6
    MP: 70lbs 2x6 1x5

    Injured my right elbow during my Muay Thai sparring session. Rest muna indefinitely on MT and BB until maka-recover.

    Went back to lifting after a year of total rest. Setup my own gym at home and doing SL5x5, just finished week 9. I will update everything once I get time.

    Goal RM for this year:

    Bench - 200lbs
    DL - 350lbs
    Squat - 280lbs

    Had my first workout at home. Medjo magulo pa ung gym ko, dami pang kelangang ayusin. Nakakapanibago lang for using Olympic bar again.

    SL 5x5 - Week 10

    Started week 11.

    Lifts are getting challenging especially Squats. Need to utilize 3-5 minutes rest to complete the sets.

    Done with Week 11 Workout B. Stalled on my OHP at 100lbs ( will try again on Monday).

    Done with SL 5x5 for 12 weeks. Here are my final stats:

    Working Sets:
    Squat - 230lbs
    DL - 245lbs
    BP - 135lbs
    Row - 135lbs
    OHP - 105lbs

    I will try PR this week and do deloading sets at the end of the week.

    good stats. Are you still doing muay thai/mountain climbing? I'm curious as to how your weight training affects your muay thai and vice versa. Is the strength gained carrying over to your sport? kamusta ang recovery?

    Hinde na bro, ala na akong oras eh. that's why I setup my own home gym. 3 times a week then 1-1.5hours ( due to long rest bet sets).

    I wondering pano ako maa-update ung mga information sa gilid ng journal ko. nde kase sya applicable.
