Whey + Milo

Hey guys!

Anyone mixing their whey with Milo for pre and post workouts? Any thoughts on this?

    ^Nothing magical about that combo maybe if you just want to improve the taste though I haven't tried it yet.

    I used Milo because of its high carb content. I read that combining protein + carbs pre and post workout is good.

    Post workout is fine but pre workout is not that beneficial. It can even zap your energy because your body will need to breakdown protein.

    ayt si idol mighty, Preworkout mo should rely on solid meal and amino tabs/bcaa will do. whey post workout para mabilis ang recovery and repair process sabayan mo pa ng creatine. Kahit si idol hany rambod prefer nya aminos at solid meal preworkout. Kasi pag more on shake parang smooth daw tignan.

    i do this. post work out i mix 1 glass of milo and 2 scoops of whey. the body needs simple carbs (milo) post work out to replenish glycogen stores while making protein available for repair.

    taste - ok sya. pero masarap na kasi as it is yun ON whey choco. wag lang siguro ihahalo sa fruity flavors hehe

    natry ko na din yan haha, minsan soy milk or skim milk pa tapos saging para additional carbs haha.. kung simple carbs sir wala tatalo sa dextrose powder, kung whey ang fast acting protein ang dextrose powder naman ang fast acting carbs.
