mga sir, can you take a look at my workout. do i have a better routine? or i'll be better if i'll transfer to 5x5 routine?

    we can't comment yet with your workout.. wait for 3 months pag may progress hiyang ka dyan sa program mo tuloy mo lang pag hindi marami dito program. welcome and goodluck.. and also importante rin syempre ang nutrition.

    siguro try ko rin ung Bill Starr 5x5..

    thanks mga sirs..mga sir, mahirap po ba tlaga ang tricep push down. kasi hindi ako nagpoprogress s routine na yan..

    like koya rot have said we can't comment yet sa program mo kung effective ba talaga sya or hindi kasi nagvavary from person toperson ang effectiveness ng program some people respond better to higer rep range some respond way better sa lower rep range. so in order to know that, you'll need to stick w/ your program for a certain period to see if your body responds well to it. though i got a few questions dun sa current program na nakapost mo. seems like the only compound exercise i see in your routine is the incline chest press? no squats or deadlifts? just asking hehe :smile:

    mag 3-months na ako as 5x5 program this June 7.
    So far effective sya, ang bilis ng progress ng strength growth. :)

    thanks sir DS :).. kasi mag 4 weeks na ko sa program ko ung preacher curls nd push down sobrang bagal ng progress.. yes sir un Lang ung compound un kasi binigay ng trainer. eh plan ko mg shift sa 5x5. kasi sa 5x5 puro compound kaya sa tingin ko mas ok sya s beginner just like me..

    sir boss j,when I started 3 weeks ago I weigh 140-145 lbs then currently 150 lbs without using any supplements just whole foods..

    Agree. Specially yung articles na pinapakalat just for cash, nakakasira tuloy sa imahe ng bodybuilding.

    stick to the basic compound exercise and its basic procedure..then you can customized it based on your preference..focus muna sa str..alang magic sa bb..short cut meron...but its up to you pa din tlaga...

    3x12 routine progress update:05/15/12 - 06/10/12

    Seated Leg Press: from 105lbs. max to 150lbs.
    Inclined Chest Press: from 75 lbs. to 90lbs.
    Lat Pulldown/flexor: from 75 lbs. to 120lbs.
    Shoulder Press: 75lbs. to 105lbs.
    preacher curls: 50lbs to 60lbs.. mejo hirap dito.. kaya konti progress
    tricep pushdown: 40lbs. max to 50lbs. same here hirap din dito..
    Hyperextension: BW to BW w/15lbs..
    crunches(machine): 40lbs. to 70lbs.

    haha.. di nman sir allen.. papunta na rin ako sa 5x5..:) i started it yesterday.. Day 1 of Day 0.. tommorow Day 2.. sana maging ok ung start ko s 5x5 proper next week..
