Workout confusion

Mga master only concern ko lang naman is yung workout ko kung okay lang na mag p90x ako tas heavy na. 4x a week ang workout. kung may ma-add pa kayong advice sakin sa diet or supplements or sa iba mas okay. thank you! sobrang helpful ang forum na to :) gusto ko lang mag gain ng muscle at mag lose ng fat lalo na sa mid section :)
Makikita natin sa current pic ko is mid section lang talaga problem hehe.

    Sir im no expert ha but clarify ko lang po, pagsasabayin nyo po ba yung p90x saka heavy training in one day? saka if its not too much to ask baka pwede mo naman post yung layout ng balak mong workout? :smile:

    Di po sir, in one week yan.

    bali ganito. dipende kasi sa sched eh. example

    monday - back biceps ng p90x2
    tuesday - chest shoulder tris ng p90x2
    wed - rest
    thurs- back, legs (deadlifts,squats,pull ups,rows) Heavy
    fri - rest
    sat- chest shoulder tris (millitary press,bench press,dips) heavy
    sunday-rest

    in between na diyan yung abs hehe.

    Ah ok... i think ok naman ung spacing ng workouts between day intervals, though the only thing i know about p90x is it is somewhat similar to circuit training and havent tried that yet myself so IMHO you may opt to continue this kind of setup as long as nabibigyan ng enough time to recover ung body part na winorkout mo previously pro if you find it that you seem to be overtraining, you might wanna alternate both routines every other week instead, like i've said nde po ako masyado familiar sa p90x so cant tell much kung anu ang magiging effect sayu coz me personally i would stick w/ heavy workouts for a certain period then deload, do conditioning stuffs for a week or 2. Wait na lang natin yung ibang inputs for your question :smile: musta naman sir nutrition natin?

    Yup parang circuit training yung p90x pero parang heavy na rin siya kasi puro body weight,push ups and pull ups. high intensity din talaga kasi 150lbs ako. gusto ko rin kasi ng resistance training din talaga na nakukuha dun sa p90x workouts kasi im into sports especially basketball. then ang goal ko talaga siyempre is to build muscle and lose body fat. what do you think sir?
    nutrition okay naman high protein,sapat na carbs. multivit at fish oil a day tas madalas fruits and gulay pag masarap hehehe. pero siyempre di maiwasan merong cheat day once a week hehe. mas prioritize ko muna kasi mag lose ng fat sa mid section ngayon pero as much as possible nag ggain din ng muscles hehe.

    pang home workout kasi yung p90x, need mo lng dumbels at pull up bar.. ok kana.

    kung basketbol player ka sir, speed at endurance training dapat meron ka

    Onga po sir. ang concern ko lang is kung mas better ang workout ko na nakalagay sa taas, or mas magiging okay ang result niya for building muscle and fat loss hehe. or mali yang workout routine ko. hehe.

    I play basketbal too, 3 to4x a week, pero i lift heavy and eat heavy padin, dahil mwwala ang hard gain muscles eh, and lifting heavy mas mkaka lean muscle,

    pkiramdaman mo na lang sir kung di ka naoovertrain sa routine na plano mo gawin pag di ka masyado nagge gain ng muscles then tweak mo ulit adjust mo nalang ung intervals nung dalawang workout mo. i really won't be able to tell you much kasi never pako nag try ng p90x na workout. sa Nutrition just make sure keep your macros covered since you mentioned playing BBall mukhang kakailanganin mo ng mas mataas na intake ng food in order to spare yung muscles na pinaghihirapan mo palakihin hehehe. Try mo din sir ung Intermittent fasting approach sa meal windows mo. si fafa dalton madaming "activities" sa daily life nya yan eh pero halimaw din sa workout at kain yan pro di nataba hehehe.

    yung body weight training ng p90x ok lang kapag 1 week ka sa lugar na walang gym. tulad ng gnwa ko buong week last week. ay tumira nga pla ako sa fitness pro isa beses pero the rest panay push ups at dips to failure sht..lol

    Mag focus nalang muna ako sa heavy mga sir. i sisingit ko nalang ang circuit pag may rest talaga.

    okay lang ba to mga sir?

    back/legs - deadlift(5sets/5reps), squat(5sets/5reps) super heavy! tapos rows,and ibang leg machine.

    chest/shoulders/tris - benchpress(5 sets/reps),millitary press(5sets/5reps) super heavy! tapos dips,flys etc. na magaan lang

    Back/biceps - deadlift(5sets/5reps), bicep curl (5 sets/5reps) super heavy! tapos pull ups,curls etc.

    okay lang ba yan? or may mas better? kundisyon katawan ko ngayon. at complete sa supplements. any advice mga sir?

    or pang newbie masyado ang balak kong workout? hehe

    Yung stronglifts mukang okay pero 3 exercise lang.. mas okay kaya yun mga sir?

    Sa tingin niyo sir ano mas okay sa dalawa? sa tingin ko ngayon mas okay yung 5x5 kasi hindi siya complicated just plain hardcore workout. any advice? hehe

    pwede din yung 5x5 to strengthen yung foundations mo sa compund lifts. straightforward din naman ung kay sean mas simplier lang talaga ung 5x5.
