Supplement for Cardio???

Good day mga bossing! Matanong ko lang, meron bang supplements na available locally para ma-improve ang endurance/mileage for long distance jogging/running? Salamat!

    for my opinion, hindi mo kailngan ng supplement for cardio.
    be consistent lang and in due time maiimproved din ang endurance mo.

    ^Salamat bossing! Subukan ko yung xtend mas mura kasi. Pang-gas ko din yung 200 pesos na matitipid.

    Nagpa-palpitate kasi ako sa extra joss baka sumobra taas ng heart rate ko jan sir.

    Hmmmmm... alam ko may mga tinitinda na supplement (well im not really sure if its really a supp) na iniinom ng mga runner 30mins before they run as energy booster for endurance while running. something like "gu gel" ung pangalan yata nun. try mo google sir. wait na din natin ung mga hardcore runners natin dito like sir @[karlz130] :smile:

    para ma refill ang sweat na naitulo ng katawan.........

    Sa Toby's madami nyang mga energy gels na yan. Php 80/pack yata yun.

    Xtend is BCAA not really an energy booster.

    Ginoogle ko sir, yan na yan nga ang kelangan ko. Search ako sa sulit to check price and availability buti meron nagbebenta 24packs for 1k, roughly 41 pesos per pack.

    Yikes! 80 pesos? Buti na lang nag-search muna ako sa sulit. Sana hindi japekz mabili ko.

    I'll just use xtend as an intra/post workout drink for recovery na lang.

    may mga guinea pig akong runner clients (sprinters and long distance runners) na pina subok ko mag take ng mga following before practice:
    no boosters
    red bull
    creatine

    results:
    No Booster: sprinters felt a bit of power but level crashed after 12 mins of intense practice sprints, long distance runners experienced nothing at all except for a tight mid section
    red bull - sprinters didnt feel any response, long distance runners level crashed after the 15km mark
    creatine - both runners felt nothing

    i guess it would be best na may adequate nutrients, minerals or even vitamins and protein na pumapasok sa body mo... sa experience ko sa mga long distance runners, some of them actually take protein powders and joints supplement, bcaa and natural herb products for the immune system. they also do resistance and flexibility exercises

    practice lang din ang kailangan to improve performance or in your case, distance :smile:

    mag carbo load ka lng, a day before the run para may energy ka, tapos at least 2 banana, para iwas cramps. ung energy gels usually tinatake lang yan pag long run or 15km above, kasi nauubusan ka na ng fuel or energy sa katawan, kaya kelangan mo itake yan.

    pwede......... pero wag lang madami ng carbo. dahil ang bigat ng tiyan pag mag cardio kana........ :smile:

    a day before yan, i think it wont apply sa pag run/cardio the next day
