200 grams breast, seasoned w/ salt and pepper; fried or grilled
garlic and ginger
half a Chinese cabbage
half cup broccoli or cauliflower
knorr beef or chicken cube
sambal (hot sauce)
fry ginger and garlic in 1 teaspoon oil until fragrant. don't burn.
add veggies and 1/4 cup of water, cover and cook for about 3 mins.
add a quarter portion of beef cube.
add chicken which has been cooked and cut bite size.
add a few drops of sambal.
cover for a minute or two.
add a corn starch slurry to thicken, stir.
done.
This has lots of veggies to be filling
for variety, one may add a tablespoon of oyster sauce or hoisin sauce
japanese chicken breast curry. Made this a few days ago. eyeballed the cals and macro from curry mix, doesn't seem that much. I'll count next time but MFP has it in their DB. I love curry. I can eat this all day everyday.
one medium onion roughly chopped
400 grams breast cut bite size.
potato and carrot - depends on how many you want.
3 cups water.
SB curry mix, heat/spice level 5. Note 5 is max, but is not that spicy. We'll use four cubes. one box has eight cubes.
saute onion in 1 tablespoon of oil until soft at naghiwahiwalay. don't burn.
add chicken and sear.
add water, boil.
add veggies and simmer.
when veggies are almost done, add the curry mix, stir well.
when veggies are done, the dish is done.
Best served w/ rice
Same thing served in domo tomo except they use a milder mix, I'd say about 2-3 heat level, they use thigh fillets, and they add some bellpeppers.
