    chest day yesterday dito sa marikina..did not enjoy it much coz nandun ung instructor na puuuurrooo broscience ang tinuturo..eversince... malamang manggigigil din dun si fifi.. nyahaha

    1st time ko mag heavy sa dumbbells. sinamantala ko na, kasi ung gym malapit sa inuupahan ko konti dumbells eh.

    flat dumbbell press
    -each hand-
    50 lbs x10
    60 lbs x8
    75 lbs x8 (dapat pala ung 80lbs na dumbbell ginamit ko)

    decline bench press
    60 lbs x10
    100 lbs x8
    170 lbs x8

    since first time ko mag heavy sa dumbbells - grabe! ahahaha ang hirap na pala iangat! nung nilagay ko na sa tuhod ko ndi ko makickback papuntang dibdib ko ahahaha.

    sir milk at sir mighty pano ba ginagawa nio?! ahaha
    and gano kabigat ung dumbells po sa mascu gym?

    zack- 100lbs yung heavies na DB sa mascu. namangha lang talaga ako kay last kasi ang lakas nya mag press. sobrang bigat na ng 85lbs para i-shoulder press tapos kayang kaya pa nyang i launch/lift galing sa tuhod nya.

    same lang din kung pano mo iniisp na i-launch galing sa tuhod mo. kung nag aalangan ka kailangan may spotter ka para pag gumewang sa ere yung weights may aalalay tulad nung lift ko kahapon naka abang si sir mighty if ever na di ko mabuhta ng maayos.

    isa lang maipapayo ko kung gusto mong lumakas sa press gamit DB's dapat magpalakas ka ng forearms dahil malaking bahagi yun ng sumasalo sa bigat na buhat mo. lahat ng mga kilala kong malakas mag press ang lalaki at malakas ang forearms.

    Agree. This is one of the "tricks" in PL that was taught to me by my former coach. Improve and strengthen your brachialis. Kaya nga siguro mahina din ako sa pressing exercises kasi payat ang wrist ko.

    Basta ako patong lang sa tuhod tapos kuha ng konting momentum pag higa sa incline or flat sabay angat ng DB's. May video nyan si ripp sa YT kung pano i handle yung heavy DB's sa pag angat at pagbaba na rin after ng set.

    hmm..brachialis...time to hit those hammer curls again. hehehe

    brachialis muscle is located in your elbow under ung biceps brachii muscle. baka brachioradialis muscle un sir mighty.. ung tinatamaan sa hammer curls..

    so its like the 2 muscles are both getting the benefit of doing hammer curls. brachialis is not just so visible when you still have high BF%. what you only see is a bicep as a whole with no separation between the muscle parts such as the bicep brachii and the brachialis.

    sir milk, ung brachialis muscle active po un pag ung forearm natin pronated tapos nag flex ka ng elbow. ung brachioradialis active siya pag nag flex ka ng elbow tapos ung forearm natin nasa midway. pag supinated ung forearm tapos ng flex ng elbow, ung biceps brachii ung active.. ^^

  • question din, ako kase halatang mahina sa push exercise, pero pag pull na or back ok ako, pwera lang sa chin ups, hirap padin ako, bigat ko kase hahaha!

    yung forearm mo boss palakihin mo .... malakas ako mag push , tapos sa forearm nakuha ko sa dumbell preacher curl yung tipong sinasagad mo sa baba yung dumbell / nababanat...
