"I understand the label says it's made in India. But there's no single proof ANYWHERE that proves it's made in India. Again, it's just on the packaging.
Besides, India also had the melamine issue because they trade with China. And India and China's production standards are the same. China and India are neighbors and have long been business partners. I'm in the importation business, and although not food related, sourcing of items is similar. We know how cheaper products are sourced and manufactured. Both from China and India. And some are shockingly "evil".
Not all China nor India products are bad. In fact, a lot are of world class qualitiy, but a lot of factories are also backyard manufacturers and really don't care about the consequences of their products as long as the costing is cheap and there's a market. The ones with no background info and with cheaper prices are these black market manufacturers and are usually tied to organized crime lords. They can make fake anything to make it look the same, but cost less. There's always a market for cheaper items but with no quality control. They target third world countries that won't check and where people have less buying power. These crime lords are actually very intelligent. They're not stupid. They know how to make money. They know that good packaging and direct distribution to target markets will grow their investments faster than a legit business will.
There are even fake eggs! That's how good organized crime can make fakes. How much is an egg???? Now, think about being able to sell a bag of "milk" powder to retail around $30 a bag. Big big money if you're a manufacturer using shady chemicals. Now market it to that country where whey protein is being imported all over the world and people are looking for better deals. Does this country also have fake brands sold openly? If yes, then sell to that country and make a killing.
I'm not selling whey protein or anything like that. I'm just very disturbed when I see bad things happening to suckers. When I saw fake viagra, I kind of chuckled. When I saw fake birth control pills (another expensive item being purchased by desperate teens and working females who are looking for cheaper prices), I was alarmed. I don't want to get a girl pregnant cause she was using fake birth control pills). Now when fake whey protein is being marketed to our country and my fellow workout buddies are buying into the product, then there's a concern. Aren't we working out to get healthy?
Would you eat a fake egg to save a few bucks?
I might buy fake earphones or fake cellphone cases or fake t-shirts, but I would not want to buy fake protein powder or anything that would go into my body.

Pero mukang madami makakabasa nito na noobs at matakot.
Ganito yan, actually may info sa net about sa company, basahin mo yung isang thread dito yung my personal experience.
Although, kaya walang info sa net yung product kasi hindi yung raw ingredients ang gawa sa India, un ang iniimport dito tapos dito sa pinas pinapackage para makabawas sa tax.
Bakit mas mura compared sa iba? Madaming dahilan.
1. Walang binabayarang endorsers. Imagine magkano binabayaf ng mg company kina Jay Cutler, Colan, Phil Heath etc..
2. Maliit ang tax dahil bulk powder lang shiniship nila.
3. Less packaging, karamihan nala plastic tub ito bag lang. Same reason bKit ms mur yung mga

4. Walang website na minamaintain.
Sabi sakin ng supplier ko, BFAD approved naman daw ito at pasa yung 23g of protein at metal detector passed.
Maybe soon makakuha ako ng proof para matahimik na kayo.

Tumaas yung DL, squat , bp, ohp, chins/pullups ko.. tapos natuto ako kung paano gamitin ang mga supplement over hype.
