As for your question, ang nakakapagpataba ay excess calories. But i would say mas nakakataba ang fat in the sense na madaling magkaron ng excess sa calories if you're not careful with your fat intake. Fat has 9 calories per gram while protein and carbs both have 4 calories per gram

Dati po akong 90kg tapos po nagdiet muna ako, ngayon po 75kg po ako then nagstart ako maggym 3 months ago, hindi po ako kumakain ng masyadong kanin eh, mga siguro 3 spoon of rice lang per meal, pero pinalitan ko po ng kamote ung kanin, kumakain po ako ng kamote 1 hour before ako magworkout, ok lang po ba yun as replacement for calories! takot na po kasi akong tumaba at gusto ko po kasi mapalabas ung abs ko1

sir, what is your main staple for developing your lats ? chin ups or pull ups ?
i do body weight pull ups as warm-up during back days. tapos wide grip and narrow grip pull overs na heavy right after that. wide grip and narrow grip are similar to pull-ups and chin-ups except they are done using a machine. pero kung komportable ka naman sa body weight lang why not. just do them both wide and narrow.

Yes. Kita naman po yung improvement sa chest, especially sa arms (kahit magkaiba ang angle). And your tummy somewhat gained size if I am correct...

pasilip-silip lang kasi pag nasa office...and singit naman sa anak ko sa laptop pag nasa bahay...and as per picture on the right...obvious, bantay bata pa rin after office...he he he

normal ba na bumaba ang weight being lifted after not having a work out for a whole week? bagsak ng 10 pounds yung buhat ko after not being able to work out for exactly 9 days...i had flu for three days and had to go on an official out of town trip after the flu...i have DOMS now after working out yesterday :-(

Well if galing ka ng sakit and "sort of" stressed out sa travel thats normal. pero kung nagpahinga ka ng 1 whole week w/out it shouldn't be the case as long nutrition and rest is in check. kasi sa akin mas malakas pa nga ako minsan pag galing ako ng deload week. then again it varies from person to person.

chin ups : 150 lbs (body weight) + 25 lbs @ 4 reps
sa dips kaya ko pa maka 4 sets 10-12 reps
