Kumusta mga bossing? Di ko alam kung tama ba na gumawa ako ng journal kasi wala namang visible improvement ang katawan ko to say that I'm exercising or into weight training :lol:

This was me back in April 2008:

Me in October 2008 after losing around 20 lbs. by working out for 3 months:

I just want to show what I went through that year. Overweight ako sa medical report ko for Saudi kaya nagdesisyon ako mag-workout. I think mabilis ang pagbaba ng timbang ko dahil sa overtraining. Halos araw-araw ako sa gym, bara-bara ang workout, walang routine at kulang sa kaalaman.

From Jul to Nov 2011, I engaged in jogging naman. Umabot na sa 172 lbs. ang timbang ko. Plano ko sana magbawas muna ng timbang tapos enroll uli sa gym pagpasok ng taglamig. Natigilan lang ako when I had a minor knee injury in Nov at di ako nakapag-enroll sa gym buong taglamig.

Okay, fast forward to today. This is me now (Endomorph, right?) :confused:

I think I started at around 183 lbs. at ngayon ay 178-ish lbs. na yata ako kapag friendly ang timbangan. Somehow sinisipag na naman ako at 2 months na uli ako sa gym. Wala pa akong sinusunod na routine. Ginagawa ko lang iyong mga natatandaan kong exercises bukod sa cardio. Improvement ko lang siguro ay lumiit ang moobs ko hehe! I don't do abdominal exercises for obvious reasons at wala pa akong exercises for the legs.

My goals are to reach to my ideal weight and lose belly fat. I don't mind kung wala akong masyadong visible maskels. I just hope makagawa lang ako ng calorie deficit. Ayoko na rin sana na parang see-saw ang ginagawa kong pagbabawas ng timbang. Mula nang makita ko na may malapit na gym sa bahay, I don't see any reason para tamarin kahit malakas ang sandstorm o taglamig na. I honestly feel marami akong dapat baguhin. Medyo confused rin ako kung cardio ba o weight training ang dapat gawin kong priority.

Since being diagnosed of having Hypertension last year, I know I have to maintain a healthier & active lifestyle. Mahirap na baka dito pa ako sa Saudi ma-tsugi hehe!

Mga bossing, I'll appreciate all of your comments, suggestions and recommendations for a new routine. I'm more than willing to do compound and whole body exercises.

    I'll remove milo and fruit juice in your diet. Both pack on sugars.

    Noted bossing. Nabasa ko konti sa Wiki. I'll go through the details pagdating sa bahay. It sounds interesting at puwede kong magawa since mag-isa lang naman ako dito.

    Lalake ka jan sa juice,milo and milk, ok yang youghurt araw araw ako may gnyn pampatbay ng digstion, if you want to loose fats, you need to lift weights and watch y0ur calories, kse ang sobrng calories yan ang naggng taba sa katawan naten, ok yan cardio pro i suggest do sprint instead of jogging, and madameng diet plan dto its up to you kung ano mkkya mo, its if,keto, etc;

    Noted bossing dalton. Binabasa ko nga pala ang journal mo sa kabilang tab. Mayroon akong journal dati sa fitday.com for my food intake hanggang sa kinatamaran ko na lang.

    Mukhang kailangang i-revise ang grocery list ko. Kabibili ko pa naman ng Milo the other day. Cross out ko na rin siguro ang mga noodles, juice at pandesal. Iniisip ko na rin bawasan ang kape at palitan na lang ng green tea.

    Iwasn mo nalang muna ang too much sugar, too much salty foods, noodles wag ka masanay jan although masarap pancit canton pgtapos mg bsketball, lol. Sacrifice ka muna gnyn tlga, ung chiken breast mo mas ok k8ng turkey breast, mura lng ata jan yan, and iwas milo nalang at powered juice, palitan mo nlng ng 100% apple juice. And drinks lots of water

    Maganda ang gabi for jogging parang hindi malakas ang sandstorm noong Biyernes. Medyo malamig pa ang hangin at hindi maalikabok. After 2 tries, nakayanan ko uli ang 2 ikot around my jogging route kahit medyo sore pa ang legs ko from the squats noong Huwebes.

    Nabasa ko na rin most of it & I'm planning to try once a week IF starting on my rest day (Thursday). Green tea lang muna siguro ang iinumin ko at maghahanap pa ng BCAA. Pasok sa sked kasi puwede ako maging idle at wala naman akong iniintindi sa pagkain dahil magisa lang ako. Dati pa ako naiintriga sa fasting and its benefits.

    Sana lang makayanan :lol:

    Nice! though mas maigi sir kung eventually gawin mo sya on a daily basis ung IF protocol, pro ayus lang muna yan for now since nagaadjust pa katawan mo sir otep. good luck! :)

    Kakatapos ko lang ng aking unang 24-hour IF protocol.

    Oatmeal ang huling kinain ko noong gabi thinking na mas matagal ako magugutom. Di naman nahirapan maliban sa paglalaway kung minsan. Tubig at green tea lang ang ininom ko the whole day.

    Tinapos ko ang fasting with brown bread w/ peanut butter, chicken breast at juice. Looking forward na ako sa workout.

    Sinimulan ko na ang Max OT this week at sinusundan ko lang iyong available file sa routine section. Nangangapa uli ako lalo na sa mga timbang na gagamitin kaya madalas napapatunganga ako :huh:

    Ang hirap pag walang maaasahang spotter kaya magaang na lang muna hanggang makasanayan ko na ang pagkakasunod-sunod ng mga exercises.

    Pareho tayo ng program sir. Enjoy yang MaxOT, pero mas maganda nga sana kung may spotter ka, dagdag confidence din un sa buhat. Basta slow and steady lang sir.

    EDIT: Sinundan ko pala yung 5-day workout ng MaxOT. Mejo iba pala program natin according sa side panel mo. hehe

    Tweaked meal plan: Disiplina, disiplina, disiplina...

    Weight: 178 > 174 lbs. (Kailangan ko na siguro ng digital scale) :smile:

    Thoughs on Max-OT
    Parang nabibitin ako sa routine na siguro dahil hindi ko pa ma-identify ang tamang working weights ko. I think it's time efficient lalo na kung may kailangan pa ako puntahan after working out.

    I never did abdominal exercises in my last routine pero I decided not to skip it sa Max-OT. Eye-opener! Hindi ko maingat ang 5 kg. dummbbell for weighted leg raises :lol: Hirap akong tumayo mula sa bench after doing regular leg raises :lol: Tagaktak ang pawis sa deadlift at squats.

    Finally napanood ko rin ang I Want to Look Like That Guy. Additional inspiration para sa goal ko.

    Down to 171 lbs. :wink: Still learning Max-OT and still a lot of work to do.

    Wrist curls... I never liked it until I did it seriously last night. Whew!

    Stiff-legged deadlift... Sinita ako ng trainer (ibang lahi) at pati tuloy ako confused. Dapat daw i-bend ang tuhod kahit ipinakita ko na sa kanya ang exercise animation sa phone ko :huh:

    I assumed na deadlift ang gusto niyang makita imbes na iyong SLDL. Kailangan ko na yata maglagay ng videos sa phone ko para ipakita ang pagkakaiba ng 2 exercises.
