  • it all started when i was second year high school,i am the weakest and the fatest in our batch,i can't beat my classmates in arm wrestling and they always tease me"mahina ka,marami ka pang kakaining bigas" ,,nung lagi nila akong sinasabihan ng ganon,i started lifting dumbbell but i only train arms and almost my right arm only..,at unti unti ko nang nagustuhan ang bodybuilding dahil nakikita kong may nagbabago sa katawan ko,at yun ,4th year highschool ko hindi na ako matalo ng mga kaklase ko sa armwrestling at nahumaling narin ako sa bodybuilding

  • yes po sir,kaso nagaaral ako ngayon my course is bs marine transportation,i am currently living in a dorm,may gym naman malapit sa school namin,kaso di ko maisabay sa pagaaral kaya gusto ko bumili ng dumbbell

    Got a busy sched that don't allow you to visit a gym for more or less an hour?

    You won't get that much results close to your expectations with just a pair of dumbbells, your choices of exercises will be limited. Let me ask you something...

    I don't think you know what is 'bulky' or 'big' in terms of competitive bodybuilding. Unless you would seriously compete on that level.

    uhm.. ok...first off, If im not mistaken,tong mga steroid na sinabi mo, legal nga.. SA KABAYO at hindi sa tao.

    secondly.
    wag ka muna mag focus sa steroid kuya, ayusin mo muna schedule mo para makapag buhat ka sa maayos na gym at hindi ung bibili ka nang 20lbs. dumbbell, walang mangyayari sayo niyan. Also, aral din muna, yun ung i prioritize mo, pag may pera ka na and may pang tustus ka na sa supplementation / roids, then dun mo yun pag isipan.

    magipon ka nalang palagi ng pambayad mo sa gym monthly tapos sa isang lingo pilitin mo maka pag traiining atleast 4 na beses.
    sa pagakain mo naman depende lahat yan sa baon mo at kung nakakaluag luag naman sina mama at papa hihihihi

    basta wag ka mag madali masyado lalot bata kapa :) at payo ko lang din na mag basasa ka palagi dito sa site dami ka matutunan dito

    Bro, wag masyado magbasa ng Men's Health magazines :)

    Bago ka pa lang sa pagbubuhat tapos steroids agad ang tinatanong mo. Ang dapat na mga tinatanong mo ay tungkol sa training at sa diet

    no offense kid, pero sa mga naiisip mo pa lang obvious na wala kang alam talaga. Siguro may natutunan ka pero yun na yun... Subukan mo magbasa basa ng mga threads dito sa PBB, hindi kami experts dito at puro sariling sikap lang matuto pero baka magulat ka na madami ka pa pala dapat aralin.

    kung gusto mo magcompete susuportahan ka namin, manonood pa kami at magcheer. pwede ka naman magcompete anytime, kahit ganyan pa lang katawan mo ngayon pwede na lumaban. karapatan mo yun.

    magkano baon mo? may trust fund ka ba? happy savers club? kahit piggy bank?

    Bro, kung seryoso ka talaga sa weight lifting, ito mga maipapayo ko sa'yo base sa experience ko

    1. Focus ka sa diet mo. Kumain ka ng gulay at prutas araw-araw. Kahit ma-hit mo ang targets mo sa proteins, carbs, and fats, mahirapan ka mag-progress kung walang gulay at prutas. Kung suportado ka ng magulang mo sa weight lifting, magpaluto ka ng high-protein na ulam tulad ng beef steak, tinolang manok, inihaw na bangus, etc. For starters, try mo umubos ng 0.75 to 1 kg of meat (beef, pork, chicken, or fish) per day para sa protein requirements mo. The weights are in raw dahil hilaw mo bibilhin ang meat sa palengke/grocery. There is approximately 20g of protein for every 100g of raw meat. Sa 1kg of beef, 200 g of protein na agad yun. Kung malakas ka kumain, madali lang ubusin ang 1kg of beef. Sa gulay, kumain ka ng pakbet (sitaw, talong, kalabasa, ampalaya, kamatis) para mix veggies na :) Sa prutas, banana, mango, orange, papaya, kiwi, pinya at avocado. No need to eat all of those fruits everyday. Monday - banana and mango, Tuesday, orange, and papaya, and so on. Also, wag kalimutan ang calories. Kahit healthy ang kinakain mo, tataba ka pa rin if you eat too much calories

    2. Pagdating sa training, kagaya ng nabanggit na ng iba, focus ka sa big 3: Squat, Bench Press, at Deadlift. Pero isama mo rin ang other compound lifts like chin up, pull up, dip, push up, press, and rows.

    3. Kung gusto mo ng home gym, magiging magastos dahil di lang dumbbell ang bibilhin mo. If I were to buy a home gym equipment and budget is limited, I'd go for a power cage and a barbell. Pull ups and dips for the upper body and squats and deadlift for the lower body. Mahirap gawin ito kung di ka pa kumikita ng sariling pera at kung masikip ang space.

    4. Kung magpupunta ka sa gym, hanap ka ng mura na magagawa mo ng maayos ang mga exercise na nabanggit sa #2

    Don't take me wrong pinipigilan kita na gumamit. Dahil desisyon mo 'yan. Tinatanong ko kung hanggang saan ang level na gusto mong makamit. Kung hanggang sa professional bodybuilding ba o hanggang sa modeling o kaya nama'y physique lang.

    Alam ko kaya gusto mong gumamit dahil na rin siguro nakabasa ka na rin ng mga articles and threads around sa 'net about professional bodybuilders nagkarga/use hormones na talaga at early age, let's say prior prior pre-adulthood (15-23yrs). Those are the people who pursue long-term bodybuilding up to the top level of the IFBB Pro Bodybuilding. Hindi recommended yun sa mga nagpupursue lang ng Physique level (even staying on that level long-term), dahil mas more good than harm na maattain yun through natural means, if you're planning to stay on that level long-term.

    I'm not a guru when it comes to AAS usage, but I had read alot experiences and read more or less four years (being a enthusiast of the competitive bodybuilding, myself) even prior starting lifting iron.

    Let me know again... Gusto mo pa bang magcompete? As in 'GUSTO' mo talaga?
