Approximately 70% of the variability in fat loss on the carbohydrate-restricted diet was accounted for by the decrease in serum insulin concentrations. There were no significant changes in glucagon, total or free testosterone, sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I), cortisol, or triiodothyronine (T3) uptake, nor were there significant changes in body composition or hormones in the control group. Thus, we conclude that a carbohydrate-restricted diet resulted in a significant reduction in fat mass and a concomitant increase in lean body mass in normal-weight men, which may be partially mediated by the reduction in circulating insulin concentrations.

So guys on LOW CARB, Hi fat diet dont fret,,
Magkakamuscle parin kayo as long as ok yung protein and meat intake nyo.
Eat lots of green veggies with your meat and eggs for the fiber too.

    @ironthumb ask ko lang yan kaya ngayayari sakin? kasi some forrumers here suggested me to go on carb deficit diet so I adjusted my macros and make it very minimal and consume high protein with adequate fat lang then napansin ko parang ang lambot ng body ko pero pag kinapa mo alam mong may muscle build up na din sa body , sabi ko nga best description eh parang unan na sumiksik yung cotton tapos parang nagflatten yung itsura nya though hindi naman nag sag skin ko hindi lanmg sya yun ineexpect ko na matigas kahit na I increase the weight of what I lift

    Ok lets take into consideration one thing from the study:
    The subjects did not actually lift weights ..
    I suggest kung mglolow carb or deficit ka and ng hihi intensity ka ay bwasan mo yung work out days mo.

    And eat lots of fruits and veggies anyway di ka mafufull sa mga yun.

    Ang iiwasan mo 100% kumain ng kahit anong tinapay,
    kailangan mo kahit konting carbs lalo n sa days n ngbbuhat ka kasi glycogen ang gngmit sa multi joint moves tulad ng squats and deads. pero stick to rice (pref brown rice) or oats for your carbs.

    Yung dark green veggies mo wag mo na bilangin yun! Eat as much veggies as you can di yan mggdagdag sa carbs pero mkksupport din yan sayo.

    Ah ok salamat @ironthumb happy naman ako sa result kasi may mga nakakapansin na at jinojoke ako na nabwasan na daw mga humps sa katawan ko nag flatten na daw which is good pero yun ineexpect ko na mag gain ng mass or hard eh hindi pa pero ma achieve ko din yan in time disiplinado nama anko at ma tyaga

    BTw in time you can also increase your carb intake
    pero the thing is in losing weight and diet mas mahalga yung QUALITY ng carbs vs yung QUANTITY ng carbs.
    So kung iniisip mo na kailangan mo pa mg calorie counting, di na actually kailangan.

    So if you eat like brown rice, carrots, boiled potatoes, and take no, absolutely NO processed foods and anything na gawa sa factory and no added sugar, sweets, pastries, etc. then that will be great.
    Sa cofee ok lang since may metabolic boost and kape just make sure you use muscovado or stevia .
