Struggling but motivated

Hi to all!

I've started working out last November 2013. My heaviest weight is 198 lbs. I was 187 lbs nung nag start ako. Currently 160 lbs na ako. Alalay lang din ako sa pagwork out because hypertensive ako (I've been taking my daily maintenance for 4 years already). I hope na matulungan niyo din ako to know the proper technique sa pag work out and sa nutrition/diet din..

Just started din using whey protein (Promatrix7) para makumpleto protein needs.

Thanks PBB...

I can relate on being hypertensive. I was on meds until late 2012. That was when I started biking and eventually weights. Eventually my body stabilized (thank god the high BP was not due to some chronic illness) and was likely just a byproduct of being sedentary and fat.

    Corrected already Sir Core.
    leg training sir :)

Hi sir, I do squats pero minsan lang, may problem din both knees ko (osteoathritis). Pero since nung nabawasan timbang ko medyo um-ok na so unti unti ko na din incorporate sa workout ko.

Hirap talaga inabuso ko din kasi katawan ko when I was young.

Ask ko lang sir kung paano naging physical activity during your teenage years, 20's, then now. Any sport-related background or such?

Good for you Sir, how I hope na mag stabilize din ang body ko tulad mo. Actually my cardiologist suggested na mag light workout ako and eventually nagustuhan ko naman dahil gumaganda na BP ko.

a lot of the complications most people have are due to the fact that we eat all the bad, demonized foods and do little to no exercise.

We humans are built to hunt for a living, not sit around and eat all day ehehehe.

Even before going to sleep kakain pa ako kung ano tira namin from dinner kung wala naman lalabas pa ako para mag-SinangagEXpress. Pero talagang tinaggal ko na din yang habit na yan and for the past 4 months masasabi kong mahirap but worth it naman.

Was that the reason why you don't train legs, intolerable pain?
