if you have a meniscal tear it depends if its symptomatic or not such as pain when going up and down stairs, if there is already locking knee (due to meniscal tear fragment is caught in between your knee joint).
treatment:
depends on the level of activity of the patient, depends how disabling or botheresome the pain is to the point it affects already your daily activities.
treatment 1.
conservative : rest, series of physical therapy like quadriceps muscle strengthening exercises
treatment 2. surgical: arthroscopic debridement by removing the torn fragment,
price of the arthroscopy procedure: depends who is the surgeon and what hospital. ranges from 40k to 80k. ( the 40k could just be the pf of the surgeon and 80k could be all in including hospital bills).

ako naman sa left shoulder masakit pag nag incline barbel press ako. kaya dumbel nalang ako when doing incline. pag nag circular motion din ako, medyo masakit at minsan may natunog. Sana wag lumala, di naman ganun kasakit. ganun din ba sayo sir dalton?
mga sir share ko lang.. parang lage nlang kasi ako ngkaka shoulder injury.. ngayon parang hindi nanaman normal LEFT shoulder ko tapos parang me feeling na ipit.. saka may cracking/clicking sound w/o pain pag nag shoulder rotation (nabasa ko lang pede kayang sign/symptom ng RC tear un?)
may previous shoulder injuries nako.. tendonitis and last year yung tendon tear sa right shoulder ko pero buti nmn naging ok parin.. nag include narin ako ng internal and external RC exercise saka YTWL exercise bago mag workout pra mastrengthen un shoulder.. pero ganun parin.. pinagaralan ko rin nmn proper postures.. pero ganun parin!
Mga master share ko lang, nagbuhat ako kahapon then after doing all the lifts, parang may naramdaman ako sa lower back ko,right side sa taas lang konti ng hips, hindi ko alam kung ngalay lang o sa buto, hindi naman siya masakit...may nakaexperience na ba ng ganito sa inyo mga master?

Share ko lang mga master, after almost two years, bumalik yung pain sa ankle ko from an ankle injury. Naramdaman ko 'to after ko i-train ng heavy and 3x a week yung calves ko. Nabasa ko kasi sa Flex magazine na ganun ginawa ni idol Arnold so tinry ko.. effective naman, kaso ayan..hehe may masasuggest ba kayo na remedy? salamat mga sir!
@kulafu: sabi ko nga sayo diba na meron tayong imbalance, when you do compound lifts hindi same power output yung nabibigay nung magkabilang limbs so tendency hindi rin equally distributed yung stress. kaya masakit yung lower back mo sa isang side kasi nagovercompensate yung side na yun. i also told you about spine compression, putting too much load on yung shoulders (squats and overhead press) will fry your spine and pelvis. i would advice you do squats, deads and overhead presses on different days. focus on strengthening the individual muscles first before jumping into the big lifts. our training approach should be different from the well built individuals kasi may scoliosis tayo. wala pang spine transplant kaya ingatan mo yung likod mo.

How do i my treat lower back pains?I have a lower back pain its almost 1year. I already tried to go to a PT but nothing happened. But i still manage to do heavy deadlift.
^i think we have a similar case though hindi masakit yung lower back ko. Tender lang when I stretch it. During contraction hindi naman painful. I can deadlift and squat pero andun yung sakit. 2 weeks na walang deadlift and squat kasi inoobserbahan ko pa. Pero I think it's getting better.
@pandaboy & xbrain: wala ba kayo any issues with your back for the past years? Pwede kasi matrigger yun especially when you do heavy lifts. On my case Deads and squats. These lifts require more than just strength, technique and execution are the usual culprit for lower back issues. Most pros dont even do them coz the risks outweigh the gains here from a bodybuilding point of view. It will take years to master these lifts kaya if its causing you problems now, you better stepback and find an alternative (again if you are bodybuilding). But i would recommend you strengthen your core, your lowerbody and the entire posterior chain by mixing freeweights, machines and bodyweight exercises.

ganito ang ginagawa ko pagsumakit ang likod ko when i've done Squat...
sa mga may shoulder pain dyan and i'm referring particularly to the rotator cuffs muscles. use this exercises, and do only light weight which you can do properly up to ten reps to rehabilitate your rc, perform deltoid exercises with arms slightly bent in front raise dumbells, side raises, and reverse dumbell flys.
this grip is the proper form,
because our body is designed to carry thing this way
not designed to carry things this way
so dumbells are practically more efficient to use to avoid injuries. hindi tulad ng barbell na deretso at mas na iistress ang satriatrions ng muscles natin sa paraan ng grip. and when doing cable rows, use the grips with palms facing each other. ^^

Try ko din yan sir. and siguro bawasan ko ng konti yung weight ng binubuhat ko. Or pede dn ako mgshift muna sa dumbbells.

posible din na baka masyadong mabigat yung binuhat mo
