Mga Sir,
I would like to inquire what is the best inexpensive food or drink to substitute whey protein? which will be taken after workout, no further preparation needed which you could easily snatch in any grocery store?
are there any? please shed some light..thanks.

yes also...
Hahaha
good supplement after workout providing the muscles the necessary building blocks for recovery.
but bear in mind that this a supplement. we should eat real food high in protein like meat (i.e. chicken), eggs, dairy products etc.
@ipis- bakit di mo try kumain ng leather gawin mong nilaga o kare-kare?
gawa sa balat ng baka kaya may protein. kung gipit ka pwede mong gawing nilaga leather shoes mo.
But what about all you muscle heads out there that are neglecting eggs because of the taste or simple because you're lazy and couldn't be bothered cooking, so you ultimately opt for a tasty whey shake instead. Well after reading this article, I'm confident that eggs will be the first thing on your mind when you wake up in the morning.

who said that we are neglecting the use of egg to build muscle? when you have decided to step up your game in body building egg will be the first food that will come into mind! its cheap, its available almost everywhere and its easy to cook! for me at least, it taste good and i can eat eggs any time of the day if i want. so stop generalizing all "muscle heads" in here cause its just personal preference when it comes on protein sources. ayt?!
laftrip ako dito hahaha
naka quote lang yun sa bb.com boss hehe takot ko lang sayo

Grabe sarap ng tawa ko dun sa "leather topic"
Haha
you actually did not get my point.
technically whey protein is food. but it should be differentiated from a normal food we eat (i.e. rice, meat, veggies).
there is a reason whey protein is called a supplement. it should not replace the usual food we eat.
and also, not all supplements are food by-products. some are synthetic. so we should not generalize.
and btw, i have tons of agriculture courses from HS to College, so i know what whey is. i experienced making cheese myself in the lab and i have seen how whey actually looks like in its original state.
true! minsan nagiging troublesome din yung additional calories from fat and sugar na kasama sa mga powdered filled milk lalo na kung walang moderation sa pag inom hehe.
