Is it possible to bulk but at least lessen the belly fat at the same time?
Currently my weight is 146lbs, and I'm 5'6. Medium frame with belly fat.
I'm on a bulking phase right now kasi gusto ko mas mag gain ng muscle. Kaya lang siyempre mas lalong lumalaki yung tiyan ko.
Diet is good. At least 80%-90% clean and healthy.
Workout is 4x week 5x5 program.
Cardio - Eto kulang ko, madalang ako makapag jog.
Current Supps are :
Whey
Creatine
Beta Alanine and L-Arginine pwo.
Multi and Fish oil
I'm planning to add Lipo 6 for additional energy booster (caffeine) before working out, at the same time thermogenic din. Pero ayoko lumiit yung built ko, ayoko din po sana bumaba pa yung timbang ko, yung belly fat ko lang sana habang nag gagain pa ako ng muscle. Is it possible?
Is it ok or talagang maglolose lang akong weight sa fat burner?
Or stick na lang ako sa bulking?

You can not serve two masters at the same time. Learn to prioritize your goals. Either you go in a bulk or start cutting. Although at your current weight I'd go on a bulk and build strength then worry about losing fat later on.

yeah.. and Allen, just dont make the mistake of thinking that bulking up means you can eat all types foods and the way they are cooked. Thats the easiest and most probably the fastest way to increase weight but chances are, you will gain a bit of lean mass and your belly fat will also add size and you will HAVE DIFFICULTY CUTTING BACK YOUR BELLY FAT LATER ON...
you can still get big and lean (on a slower pace)... its a matter of what foods you will be eating, its timing, the way its cooked, your carb choices, your supplement choices and its ingredients, supplement timing intake, what your pre and post wo meal macros %, training frequency - intensity, stress levels, rest, daily activity... heck! i can go on and on and on...

Salamat sir. Actually wala naman ako masiyadong prob sa pag iwas sa unhealthy food. Hindi din ako talaga mahilig sa matamis, at mula nung nagsimula ako magwork out, hindi na ko nag sosoftdrinks.
Kaya lang before starting to bulk medyo malaki na talaga tiyan ko e. Nagtry ako mag cut kaso inayawan ko dahil lumuliit din katawan ko.
Sana magawa ko ma lessen yung belly fat while gaining lean mass.

-iwas ka sa prinito
-low to medium gi carbs from veggies if ever kakain ka before bedtime (wag ka na mag white rice)
-wag ka muna mag mass gainer, stick to whey protein for shakes and calories coming from real foods
-drink enough water
-train hard, train consistent, you can still do a 15-20 min interval intensity cardio training during your weight training rest days..
While there are hundreds of exercise combinations... make sure you stick to a program/diet for 6 weeks and monitor progress.. change if necessary or if slow or no progress at all... progress maybe: increase strength, changes in girth measurements (including belly), increase CV efficiency, increase flexibility, changes in outlook in life, etc etc.. or the negative of what ive mentioned.

ive tried GVT, and gained renewed strength when i got back to a straight multi exercise program.. kaso after 2 weeks of gvt, na bore na ako kaya i added a 5x5 with it. 1 barbell gvt, tapos db na 5x5.

all is dependent on what weight and BF% you want to be at...
for the sake of ideal weight.. and lets say 10% bf, here are some target lean mass you may want to consider:
Height = 5’4
Small frame – 132 – 138 (ideal weight)
Lean mass – 118.8 – 124.5
Medium frame – 135 – 145 (ideal weight)
Lean mass – 121.5 – 130.5
Large frame – 142 – 156 (ideal weight)
Lean mass – 127.8 – 140.4

most commonly used measurement for body frame size is thru the wrist circumference... kaso karamihan ay for men above 5'5"...
