even during rest days i would advise na magtake ka ng supps mo. especially kung nasa recovery stage pa yung katawan mo. ung crea content ng gainers is minimal as far as i know less than 5 grams at the very least per serving. ung home made na gainer na nakita mo i think is actually another recipe of a protein shake pwede din yun kasi that will let you take solid food kasabay ng protein. though i wll not recommend it for post workout kasi matagal yun maa-absorb ng katawan mo unlike ng whey+water lang for. Nde ko lang sure kung meron pro-complex sa CnC.
