  • sir, me and skinn weighs almost like yours. si skinn mas mataba pa ata sayo, ako naman i weigh 230+ lbs. and im 29yrs old, i started dieting and lifting weights this year only, pls see my journal for comparisons,

    lahat may pagasa basta may STD. sipag, tiyaga at determinasyon.

    others did it, syempre kaya mo rin yan brad. disiplina ser, set goals, realistic goals week in week out. you can do this!

    oo naman! nanonood ka ba nang biggest loser? gramps na nakakapag lose weight pa din. bata mo pa filchibuff. don't give in to the negativity, those are your fat cells talking! fight-on para tumaas test levels @ mawala yan ganyan feeling! :)
  • I'[m on day 12 and nag timbang ako im so frstrated nag diet naman ako nag papaka buwis buhay ako sa gym 3 hours almost every day tapos 5lbs lost lang! WHY DID i HAD TO FATTENED UP MY SELF THEN I WOULDNT BE THIS BIG STARTING TO HATE THIS :(

    hehe. panic mode na si sir.. sir bata ka pa 26 ka pa lang, ako 36 na ako sir pero kaya kong utusan ang katawan ko magpabigat at magpapayat.. sir hindi rin patagalan sa gym para pumayat.. hehe try cardio 2 hours of running, walking everyday rest on sunday.. 2months palang pag ganyan ginawa mo makikita mo na result. goodluck!

  • Yep tama lahat ng mga veterans dito boss filchibuff. The key is consistency. When you engage in any routine, kailangan na rin talaga isipin mo its a way of life na. You don't necessarily need to punish yourself in the gym day-in day-out. Small changes done on a consistent and long term basis will really pay huge dividends. Small changes such as gently (not suddenly) lowering your food portions will lead to great change over a span of 1 year. And that brings me to my point, for some people, the fitness lifestyle is not a 60 day challenge, its a challenge that lasts until the day you die. Wag ka mag-madali, take your time. Crash routines and diets will only make you feel more miserable. I think you should change your 60 day challenge to a 360 day challenge.

    Fitness is a lifelong marathon, not a sprint. The best part about this marathon as with any marathon, marami kang kasamang tumatakbo. Hindi ka nag-iisa. :)

    yes, tama lifetime talaga yan pero baka ma pressure sya masyado. 60 days muna for cardio. mas madali kasi magpataba kay sa magpapayat alam ko yan kasi ako 240lbs din ako.. pag nalampasan mo na ang 60 days cardio 2 hrs, try to jog straight for 2 hours naman for 60 days ulit.. unti unti lang set your goals.. ma aachieve mo rin yan.. nagsisimula ka pa lang kasi baka mabigla si sir, kung lifetime agad ang iadvise mo.. hehehe

    OVERTRAINING.. wag mo ubusin lahat ung routine for 1 day bro.. just stick to a 1 hr weight training program tapos ihiwalay mo ung cardio mo kung kaya mo din within the day ( 8hours or more )..

    tapos learn to accept rest days.. malaki maitutulong nun sau in the long run..

    for me, I advice you to start doing muscle building exercises as early as now.. the more muscles you have, mas maganda magiging metabolism mo bro. and remember 5lbs in 12 days is not BAD.. you still lost pounds..

    Patience is very important.. ung first month lang usually ung badtrip pag ganyan, then after that, it will soon be your lifestyle..

    let your body adjust to the changes. take the advice of rot and last.., split your weight training and cardio. ganyan talaga sa umpisa, wag ma depress - press forward tayo!

    Tama nga naman may point ka sir, baka nga ma-bigla masyado kung lifetime hehe. Mas-ok nga kay sir filchibuff kung mag-focus on a goal to goal basis nalang muna para motivated palagi.

    Tama rin si sir lastresort, 5 lb weight loss mo malaking bagay na yun. Para hindi ka mawalan ng morale, consider every improvement, kahit sa tingin mo "maliit", as motivation to do better next time. Sa ngayon impyerno pa pinagdadaanan mo dahil recently ka lang ulit sumabak sa fitness routine, pero kapag naka-adjust na ng konti ang katawan mo, paunti-unti na rin tataas confidence mo.

    Basta no stress, katawan mo yan, ikaw ang makaka-alam kung hindi mo na talaga kaya. Work hard, but also work smart.

    lamu naman sa corporate world..kelangan tlaga yan which is applicable naman din sa normal life..eto ang baseline in goal setting, whether short or long term goal...

    filchi- ang dami nang naka gawa, bakit ikaw hindi mo kaya? kaya mo yan masyado mo lang pinepreasure ang sarili mo kaya feeling mo hindi mo kaya. 60 days to cut is too short a 100 days should be better. dont complicate things too much. concentrate on your goal hindi mo mamamalayan nandun ka na sa gusto mong marating.

    filchi- pag tapos mong mag ensayo natural lang na magutom ka kasi you have depleted your resources. pero controlin mo ang pag kain, you can eat pero wag naman sobra. tandaan mo na dapat lagi kang nasa cal deficit at hindi ka dapat lumagpas dun ano man ang magyari. alam ko masama sa loob ang mag control o mag pigil ng pagkain ng madami pero yun lang ang paraan para bumaba ang timbang mo. isa pa, masasanay ka din naman in the long run sa routine na to kaya pilitin mo sa umpisa.
