Since SL or be it any other variations of 5x5 programs is geared towards strength, then rest periods should be anywhere between 3-5 mins. On the last set take the full 5 mins. Longer rest periods contribute to more strength.
^ ako rin ganyan problem ko, chest ko di pantay, kaliwete ako pero mas maliit left pecs ko kesa sa left. sabi nung trainer sa ff, mag dumbbells daw ako gradually papantay, sana totoo. if alam niyo solusyon dito mga masters pasagot nalang.
i think nakuha ko to sa kaka dumbell row , di ko talaga mapantay buhat ko sa dumbell row ... kabila ramdam na ramdam ko na tinatamaan sa kabila naman parang hindi lol at weak sya at parang ala sa range of motion lol
@sir jeriel- My best bet would be barbell rows underhand grip. Mahirap naman din kasi pantayin ang lats but for me the best pa din would be pull-ups lalo na kung weighted pull-ups.
@sergiee- Don't believe your traineir, did you ask what's the "science" behind his suggestion? I'd still do flat Bench instead.

Mga sir, anung magandang program para sa babae. Ang goal ay reduce fat and gumanda hubog ng katawan. Ayoko magaya sya dun sa ibang babae sa gym na pura sit-ups ginagawa. Isa sa mga naiisip ko ay split routines and some compound lifts. Anu tingin nyo sir?
ok naman ang cardio sa stationary bike though kung moderate cardio lang gagawin mo dun nde ka masyado magbuburn ng calories compared sa treadmill (well i think same thing goes w/ the treadmill actually) ako by far i have used 4 types of cardio machines, the bike, treadmill, elliptical crosstrainer, and stairmaster. Though i do it HIIT style, hindi long-winded moderate cardio
nope, pili lang kung anu trip gawin or kung anu available sa pag pumunta ako sa gym madalas kasi okupado lahat ng treadmill saka elliptical trainers pag pumunta ako eh. pro ang sigurado High Intensity Interval Training pag nagka cardio ako.
^Nagawa ko na before. I used that program to improve my endurance and fat loss na din in preparation for a B-ball tourney. Very effective naman for me.
mga sir ask lng, dba yung cassein protein is good to take hours before bedtime because of long sustain release of protein, pano sir qng nagwoworkout aq mga 6pm onwards, after work ko nag wwhey protein aq, pwede bang pagsabayin yung dalawa? hindi po kaya ma overwork liver ko sa pagprocess ng proteins in a short period of time? tnx
