    ^try mo muna iwarm compress sir..npaano b yan sir?better have it checked n bka may tear n yan or tendonitis lng..then theyll give u proper rehab for that..

    d ko nga alam ung reason sir, ang naisip ko lng baka nadaganan ko habang natutulog? kc mga 3-4days n din xa ee.. d tuloy ako makapag heavy sa WO ko.

    ask ko lang kung pano treatment pag may tear of meniscus? tsaka pag nagsurgery magkano kaya abutin?

    ^ usually sir arthroscopy ang gngwa dian..pde yan gwin as outpatient..baka abutin k ng mga 40k cguro..

    if you have a meniscal tear it depends if its symptomatic or not such as pain when going up and down stairs, if there is already locking knee (due to meniscal tear fragment is caught in between your knee joint).

    treatment:

    depends on the level of activity of the patient, depends how disabling or botheresome the pain is to the point it affects already your daily activities.

    treatment 1.
    conservative : rest, series of physical therapy like quadriceps muscle strengthening exercises

    treatment 2. surgical: arthroscopic debridement by removing the torn fragment,

    price of the arthroscopy procedure: depends who is the surgeon and what hospital. ranges from 40k to 80k. ( the 40k could just be the pf of the surgeon and 80k could be all in including hospital bills).
  • Mga sir, I've been feeling pain in my right shoulder pag nabebenchpress or overhead press. Dun sya sa may harap ngshoulder nararamdaman. Namomove ko naman sya ng maayos pero dun lng xa ngkkpain pag nag-BP na ako or OP. Sa mga nabasa ko, bka shoulder impingement sya? What do you think? And ano po maganda gawin regarding this? Thanks!

    i feel you. ganyan din ako, mri daw kasagutan then rehab. natatakot kase ako sa rehab pipigilan ako mag buhat. mmatay ata ako pag nde ako nag buhat

    ^Play around with the width of your grip muna. Baka sumasakit kasi medyo wide ang grip mo.

    Try ko din yan sir. and siguro bawasan ko ng konti yung weight ng binubuhat ko. Or pede dn ako mgshift muna sa dumbbells.

    masakit din ba kahit sa push ups ?
  • yes sir. pero sa barbell bench press, sumasakit lang sya pag nasa 40lbs na ako. Nagsimula to nung nag-shoulder press ako nung wednesday eh.

    ako naman sa left shoulder masakit pag nag incline barbel press ako. kaya dumbel nalang ako when doing incline. pag nag circular motion din ako, medyo masakit at minsan may natunog. Sana wag lumala, di naman ganun kasakit. ganun din ba sayo sir dalton?

    nag warm-up ka ba bago mag shoulder press ?

    check mo rin yung form/execution mo

    posible din na baka masyadong mabigat yung binuhat mo


    ipahinga mo muna ng 1 week or 2 weeks. pag nawala ang sakit, start light (around 50 to 75% of what you were able to lift before the injury)

    mga sir share ko lang.. parang lage nlang kasi ako ngkaka shoulder injury.. ngayon parang hindi nanaman normal LEFT shoulder ko tapos parang me feeling na ipit.. saka may cracking/clicking sound w/o pain pag nag shoulder rotation (nabasa ko lang pede kayang sign/symptom ng RC tear un?)

    may previous shoulder injuries nako.. tendonitis and last year yung tendon tear sa right shoulder ko pero buti nmn naging ok parin.. nag include narin ako ng internal and external RC exercise saka YTWL exercise bago mag workout pra mastrengthen un shoulder.. pero ganun parin.. pinagaralan ko rin nmn proper postures.. pero ganun parin!
