Pareho lang halos sa Optimum Whey except yung LASA at saka lalagyan naka PLASTiC eh. Pang low budget 1.5 K lang kasi tapos 68 servings isang pack

    ON whey pro user here!

flavors i have tried so far:

Strawberry - the best IMO, sa utol ko lasang gamot pero sakin siya pinaka-ok
Rocky road - Sa umpisa heaven, sa huli hell. makita ko pa lang to nasusuka na ako
Chocomalt - Matabang, parang milo na walang asukal. nothing special for me

Hindi naman kailangan talaga yung Whey. Kaya nga supplement tawag e. :p

Pero I use Whey kasi mahirap magluto ng whole foods pag nasa school. Helps me get my protein requirements everyday. :)

ON was the first brand I've tried, and I'm still using it. I used:

Double Rich Choc: smelled/tasted weird at first, but the longer I used it, I started liking it more and more. Nakagamit na ako ng 1 lb. and 5 lb. tubs.
Banana Cream: KADIIIIIRIIIIII! Binili ko 5 lb. pero ayaw ko talaga ng taste ng Banana Cream!

Thinking of switching to MYofusion Whey afterwards, yun daw pinakamasarap na whey :D kaso mas weak yung profile nya vs. ON

bili na ako ng whey ko this week baka mag ON ulit ako or promatrix bahala na hehe.

Concentrate kasi yung Pro Matrix tapos yung ON Isolate, kaya mas mahal yung isolate. :)

bro ano difference ng concentrate at isolate?
  • boss_jboss_j Posts: 1,243B-Class
another thing siguro na nakaka mahal is the BRAND and the Container ?

    Concentrate

Whey protein concentrate is the more common of the two types. First of all, concentrates are significantly cheaper. To acquire them, the source of whey – which is in dairy products such as milk – is filtered to separate the protein from the water, and other organic materials. The acquired protein is then made into powder, or whey protein concentrate.

Concentrates contain about 70 to 80 percent protein, and can have about 5 percent of lactose. Therefore, lactose intolerant individuals cannot consume large amounts of this protein source.

    Isolates

Whey protein isolates are significantly more expensive when compared to concentrates. This is mainly because they are ‘more pure’, as they consist of about 95 percent protein. Isolates also have little to no lactose content; with the fat content significantly lower than those of concentrates.

Basically, isolates are the protein source of choice for people with lactose intolerance. Isolates also makes it easy for individuals who count macronutrients by the tick. They are also great for people who are dieting, because of their fat-free and cholesterol-free content.

The source of isolates is the same as concentrates, but more filtration and separation of protein is done, apparently, to result in a ‘more pure’ form of protein.

    salamat bro jerielm

AFAIK kasi Promatrix7 belongs to specialized protein category, meaning 2 or more protein source(ex. egg albumin, micellar casein, soy etc.) bukod sa whey na kasama.

while Whey protein has only one source w/c is whey.

yung iba na explain na ni jerielm.
