TO BULK OR TO CUT

Hi people!

I'm new to this site po.

Height: 5'8
Weight: 147 lbs
Calorie Intake and Macros at the moment: between 2500-2600 (protein = 200-205 grams, carbs = 212-225 grams, fat = 57-60 grams)

Kagagaling ko lang sa cutting period. From childhood to 21 years old, payatot talaga ko. Then tumaba ako. In December of 2012, I realized di na ko comfortable sa weight ko, so I decided to work out. I started working out in January of 2013, for 2-3 months 5 nights a week ako mag-gym. Then after that, naging twice a week na lang kasi naging tatay na ko, and wala naman kaming yaya. So, for 2-3 years ganun lang usually workout frequency ko. Then last year, mga March, naging 4 nights a week. Umabot ako sa 80 kilos, nagkaron ako ng gains, pero di ko namonitor masyado that time yung calories.

From July 2016-February 2017, nagcut ako, and from 80kg - 66.5 na lang ako ngayon.

My problem is, I know na gusto ko pa ng gains, pero I'm too scared to get fat again. Mukhang okay naman katawan ko, I usually get the looks from other people when I walk by them. Sometimes, hinaharang pa ko ng guards para itanong kung ano diet ko saka kung ano gamot iniinom ko. Aside from whey and creatine, wala naman na. Tamang diet lang.

Pero I'm not satisfied with my body, I'm currently at 10/11-12% body fat. At least, based on Internet calculators, using a tape measure. Pero, as mentioned, takot ako tumaba.

I need advice as to whether ituloy ko na lang yung cut ko up to maybe 7-8% or saka na lang ako magbulk, or magbulk na ko ngayon. Dirty bulking is not an option for me. Slow bulk lang kung magbubulk ako.

Yung binibilhan ko ng Promatrix inalok ako ng Dianabol. Although I gave it a thought, ayoko kasi irisk yung health ko.

Nung weekend, sabi niya pwede daw ako sumali sa Mutant Showdown - novice division, so nacurious ako, tiningnan ko sa YouTube, and I felt and am small compared to them, and I'm not as shredded. I have a feeling na mejo nakasteroid yung iba. I don't wanna judge pero you know what I mean.

What do you think should I do moving forward? Cut or bulk? Someday, gusto ko sana makajoin sa ganung event kahit pang-novice lang. Pero ayoko namang pumunta dun na ako yung pinakamaliit na body, at least decent lang. Last resort ang mag-gear.

    Add ko lang 6 days a week na pala ko magworkout simula March.

    Monday - Hamstring/Calves
    Tuesday - Chest/Tri
    Wednesday - Back/Bi
    Thursday - Shoulders/Traps
    Friday - Quads/Calves
    Saturday - Full upper body (chest, back, shoulders, arms)

    Hmmm... gusto ko sana maging ganito yung katawan ko:

    Need advice kung paano ko magstart ulit. Sa ngayon kasi nakamaintenance lang ako.

    palit tayo katawan haha.

    depende po ata sa goals mo. sabi nyo takot kayo tumaba at competing, cutting will hit 2 birds with 1 stone. mas magiging defined yung shadows or linya linya nung katawan which will make you look bigger (in my opinion) at hindi ka pa tataba.

    pero kung wala ka pa naman balak mag-compete, bulk na hehe.

    Haha. Oo takot ako tumaba. 7 months ako nagcut, pre. Ang hirap pa namang magcut. Ang kinakatakot ko kasi baka masyadong madaming muscle mawala sa kin pag nagcut pa ko ng mas matagal kaya nagstop muna ko.

    Saka napansin ko wala akong clear na abs. Sigurado dahil din, wala akong abs day. Pasundot sundot lang. So para lumaki ab muscles, lumapad pa yung lats ko and lumaki legs ko.

    Pero may nakikita kasi ako sa gym na ripped na guy. So parang sabi ko gusto ko, maging ganun karipped, pero gusto ko mas malaki muscles ko. So ngayon di ko alam kung anong gusto kong mangyari sa buhay ko hahahaha.

    Sa tingin ko paps yung nakikita mong super ripped na guy may sinusunod na program yun o disiplinado lang sila pag dating sa pagkain and I think nag ccompete sila hmm. Buti ka pa nga labas na abs mo eh haha ang sa akin nag tatago pa rin sa likod ng taba lol

    Totoo kaya yung sabi sa Athlean-X na pwede maglose ng fat and build ng muscle at the same time, pero mejo slow nga lang? Sa Bodybuilding.com kasi, either bulk or cut lang di raw pwede sabay unless noob. Di naman na ko noob.

    Yes. Haha. Actually, mga almost two months ko pa lang ginagawa yung two leg days ko. And the reason behind it is that, I think weak yung legs ko. Maybe not weak, but lagging behind compared to my upper body. I think it's more of my genetics. Sprinter legs lang talaga siguro meron ako, kasi sa ankles ko wala talaga akong muscle.

    Pero para balanced lang din, kasi if you notice, twice ko hinihit yung muscle groups sa upper body kasi nagfufull upper body ako ng Saturday. Kaya naisip ko magtwo days din ng legs. Hiwalay yung quads and hamstrings kasi ang goal ko dagdagan yung workout para sa hamstring and quads. On quads day, squats (4 sets), leg press (low and close stance) (6 sets), and leg extensions (5 sets). On hamstrings day, deadlifts (4 sets), leg press (high and wide stance) (6 sets), and 5 sets of leg curls. So hopefully, magkaron ng development sa legs ko in a year.

    On both quads and hamstrings days, nagcacalves ako.

    Haha. 1 to 1 1/2 hours lang naman ako sa gym madalas. Ang matagal ko lang 2 hours pag Saturday kasi nagfufull upper body ako.

    Same tayo paps. Kaso sa kain hirap isingit sa everyday schedule, office time + bebe time. Hehe.
