I am achieving to lose weight from 135 lbs. to 120 lbs., after this I am aiming to tone my body and maintain what I achieve by then. I may not have a perfect diet since I don't live on my own. Medyo mahirap talaga pag ang mga kasama mo sa bahay ay hindi nakikiisa, but I am controlling and eating clean as much as possible. I find ways. I believe that if you are aiming for something, kahit mahirap at kahit matagal maabot, you have to work hard for it and be patient enough.
I used to play as a varsity player in HS and college for volleyball and basketball, respectively. I train hard for two years wayback HS nung nagofficer ako for C.A.T. kaya I know what it is like "not to quit." I already anticipated that after college na I would struggle in my body weight since by profession the only workout that I do daily is walk from one classroom to another and sit in front of the table while making exams and encoding grades.
Turning point came last month when my shorts and my clothes doesn't fit at all. I haven't used them for a while since I shifted job and worked from home na mas nagpalala ng situation ko. Then another day came na may sale sa mall ng pants, damn! di ko mabili! And I said to myself it doesn't fit at all, but I used to have a 27 waistline before. Sa sobrang saya ko sa life ko now since I don't get to enjoy the hang of traffic e may belly fat got bigger to 36 inches. I am not that fat overall, but my fats concentrated on my mid area - belly and my thigh. As I was checking last time, ok pa range ng weight ko for my height but I was kinda convincing myself, since for the longest time my weight was just between 115 lbs to 120 lbs. wayback when.
Then one day, my former student encourage me to workout. Then another one PM me also. Isabay mo pa ang di mo magkasyang shorts at pants. I enrolled in a bakal gym that is decent enought to be located in a mall nearby almost last month lang, but honestly, and hirap magstart. Gusto ng isip pero ang tamad ng katawan. Ika nga ng isang student ko, sa simula talaga nakakatamad. So a week passed, wow nasasayang ang binayad ko, so I just gave it a shot a week after. Sabi ko hala ang dami guys. So the first week, I just experimented with the schedules of the gym, since I was aiming for a "solo ko ang gym" mode or "madami kami girls mode" :biggrin: Anyway, my first week at the gym was arggghhh intense. And now I preferred morning sessions. After a week my 5 day a week gym plan paid off. I lose an inch off my waist! Syempre mas nakakagana now.
Turn second week, lose another inch again, so 2 inches na off the waist. Then I also lost 1.5 lbs. Come third week, present week, I already lost 3 inches total off my waist and I am now 132 lbs from 135 lbs starting weight.
So happy with the results so far!!! :biggrin: :yahoo: My only dilemma is - BAKIT NAKAKAADDICT NA MAG-GYM?!??!?!? OMG! nasa bahay na ako puro form pa ginagawa ko. Then I am always youtubing workouts, etc.
Since my monthly enrolment will end this Sunday, lipat muna sa bagong branch ng gym ko din sa opposite ibayo pero magkasing layo lang since may mas mura na promo. hahahhaa! I will update my progress here as this will serve as my progress diary now.
