Re-feed Day or Cheat Day

Hi Everyone, I am not sure if this already been a topic here, but I want to bring this up for your opinions.

I myself do more of a structured refeed day than cheat day, although there are pros and cons also. (See References)

I specify 1 rest day in my week as my refeed day where I eat at TDEE but leaning more on carbs; for the reason of glycogen recovery and leptin increase utilization to bust on fatloss plateu. It also helped me psychologically because it gave me rest from strict dieting.

What is your take brah's? Re-feed or Cheat Day?

    I think you just shuffled your macros, up the carbs, drop the protein. Total calorie intake probably is within the same range throughout the week. Refeed is to eat, eating more than usual. Not necessarily carbs but calories in general.

    Yes sir, still on TDEE on re-feed, although I eat around 400-500 calories below my TDEE on work-out days. I am planning to increase my calories intake to TDEE on workout days and around 300-400 calories above TDEE on re-feed when I am satisfied with my bf% already. Thanks sir for your comment.

    HAHAHA natawa ko dito sir V kumakain pa naman ako ngaun as i type this down. hahaha. i cheat/refeed or whatever you want to call it basta kumakain ng pagkadami dami atleast once a week. SAMBOKOJIN,DADS, YAKIMIX, NIU and etc. as in 3 hrs of non stop chewing. no restrictions. haha meron pa malala minsan pag di ko makontrol hormones ko kagaya ng napag usapan namin ni sir @badass_vinch sumasagad ako ng 2 days. sat and sun un ung sad part... haha im only human dont judge me :( hahaha pero so far it worked naman for me. jan 245lbs ako last week i checked, 216lbs nlang ako. pero malamang bumigat ako nag maypac weekend ako eh... binigay ko na, bawiin ko nalang sa 2weeks na paparating. haha :sport:

    Thanks sir, yan din nga sir yung isang cons ng Refeed, may binging effect. Pero sarap din kasi parang pahinga ng lahat, pati what is sense of body building kung hindi rin nakakapagenjoy or makalabas manlang para makainom haha. Thanks sir sa pagshare ng experience.

    Sir, darating din kaya sakin yan? Endomorph ako, pero pwede ko ba manipulate na maging Anabolic ako like you, para ganyan na din? hehe

    sir jettie kelan ka nag start mag fulking? i mean na subaybayan ko journ mo, ano nakapag palipat or nakapag shift? certain bf%? or plateu?

    nagstart? nung nagstart ako mag max ot at naka recover na sa injuries ko ( mid back , tennis elbow, left wrist ek ek ).. so that'll make ata nung January,.

    I don't count kcals, I don't weigh my foods, i don't clean my foods , I don't know my TDEE as of this moment lelz..
    As long as may quota ako na 1 whole chicken breast per day at 2 scoops ng pm7 araw araw yun ang mahalaga sakin, yung the rest na makakain ko bahala si batman !

    di ko matandaan eh,

    143lbs ako nagstart ngayon nasa 149 na ko.

    Pero dinaanan ko na rin yang weekly change ng TDEE, carb cycling, timbang pagkain, strict diet etc..

    oks naman sya, pero mas masaya yung wala kang pakelam, basta tanggap ko na lalaki tyan ko lolz

    Hindi madali yung ganito, kelangan master mo na katawan mo. It will take years of dieting and experimenting. I can eat whatever and whenever because I know how play with my macros. Pero that doesn't mean na porke mahusay nako magshuffle ng macros e kakain ako ng kung ano ano. Goodluck sa gains ko kung ganun lang din, walang plano at direction. Planado kinakain ko weekly so if ever may trip ako kainin, I know the specific adjustments to make. CHEATING is any adjustment or deviation from the plan, it's not a pizza party or a random Mcdonalds meal. You need a plan, knowing the math wont cut it.
