    ang tip ko lang sayo jazone at sa lahat na din ng newbie na nag 5x5, wag nyo limitahan yung exercises nyo sa basic compounds kasi walang magic dyan. mas gaganda katawan at lalakas ka kung mas madami ka kayang gawin na exercises, tama? i dont know of any newbie na 100% satisfied sa 5x5 after the program. Strength gains? walang lumalakas sa loob ng ilang buwan kahit taon pa kung totoong lakas paguusapan. Panahon lang nagpapalakas sayo pag batak ka na. Kaya ko sinasabi to kasi alam ko ba gusto mo ng magandang katawan. Gusto ko lang masulit mo yung rare chance na makapaggym.

    isa isahin mo mga journal dito. magsasawa ka sa dami ng parokyano ng 5x5. Tapos tignan mo mga stats at physique nila then tsaka ka magdecide kung ano ba yang pinasok mo.

    you nailed it sir V! medyo harsh ung ibang words pero totoo kaya napakahalaga talaga ng pag pili ng tamang training. isa rin yan sa malaking pag kakamali ko nung BS stundent pa ako :(

    Super comfortable na ako sa deadlifts. Excited na nga ako sa next deadlift session kasi yung 50lbs plates each side na gagamitin ko so hindi ko na need bumaba ng todo. Ang nahihirapan ako ngayon is sa overhead press. Twice na bigla ako napaapak ng paharap kasi masyado nakaforward yung barbell. Need ko pa polish yung form ko.

    Overhead press ko mejo nagimprove. Nanginginig nalang ako ng todo sa last rep ng bawat set. Nalaman ko na mas malakas ang buhat ko ng overhead kapag nasa harap ako mismo ng salamin haha. As for deadlift first time ko gumamit ng 50 lbs plates both sides. Since tumaas na hindi na ako hirap bumaba. Dalawang sets ginawa ko kasi grabe bigat talaga. Gusto ko maperfect. ^_^

    Medyo bad day. Habang nagsquat nagcramp yung right hip ko. Kinabahan ako kasi 2nd set ko palang yun sa squat tapos may deadlift pa after. Buti nalang kinaya. Then nagfail ako sa overhead press sa 5th rep ng 3rd set. Talagang overhead press ang pinakahirap ako. Need to improve my form. Uulitin ko yung 72 lbs next time. Balak ko din maginvest na ng belt para sa squat at deadlift.

    ^Actually sir hindi na nga natuloy yung pagbili ko. Nagbasa din ako regarding sa belt that night. Tutal kaya ko naman talaga magdeadlift pa na walang belt. Saka magfofocus muna ako sa primary problem ko ngayon, yung overhead press.

    Ay grabe another fail sa overhead press. Mas nakakafrustrate pa ngayon kasi nagfail ako sa LAST rep ng LAST set!!! Grabe sumigaw na ako for additional pump pero hindi talaga kinaya. Akala ko babagsak sa ulo ko sa sobrang pilit. Still improvement kesa sa pag fail ng third set last time. Sana macomplete ko na siya next time.

    bro, I reviewed your squat numbers. So 5lbs increase consistent every WO, that's good. The program calls for 5lbs increase right? However, it seems that you're not using the appropriate weight. It should be 5 challenging reps. Compare your squat performance with your OHP, BP and rows... 20+lbs lang difference ng weight ng nila versus your squat... Something tells me that you're squatting wayyy below your capacity. Problem dyan kasi nagstart ka ata sa girly weight... Up your squat bro! 5lbs increase per WO is not progressive if it's not challenging. It only looks good on paper but a waste of time and potential. I understand that you want to follow the program, perfect your form, measure yourself or what ever... tell you what, 5 years from now you will still be following a program, perfecting your form and measuring yourself... Wag ka gumaya sakin, halos hindi nagkakalayo BP and Squat ko. I can bench my squat, cool but not good. Goodluck :)

    yes sir 5 lbs per session. In a way tama kayo sir. I feel na i can squat more than what I am squatting now. Thank you for the advice sir. I will take it into consideration
