ive been using these for months now. personally i think they are quite good for training specially for running or cardio but not really for heavy squatting and heavy DL's as they have foam cushions. if youre into those power lifting lifts then you should consider buying barefooted shoes like vibrams and merrels.

With regards to your shoes, you're using a right kind. (Flat shoes)

Hi Sir! With regards to TS' shoes, You said that flat shoes is the right kind to use. May I know why is that so? Does that mean it's better than typical rubber shoes(basketball shoes/ running shoes)?

    Thank you sir!

i am no powerlifter but i do the big 3 lifts and try to improve as much as possible.

bench- i use whatever gym shoes.
deadlift- chuck taylors are still the best although i prefer if the thickness coulda been closer to the ground.
squats- im still using my chucks just because of stability and to assure no disparity sa stance. never use running shoes or any shoes with too much cushion. but if i had the cash i will definitely invest on Nike Romaleos. meron na dto sa gearbox.ph kso 12k. patay!

sa dati kong gym, recommendation nila, barefoot when doing squats and deadlift. sa gym ko ngayon, dapat naka sapatos, so old school adidas, superstar, gazelle, samba, etc basta flat and solid soles. i avoid pointy running shoes or any soft soled shoes, parang hindis table when doing heavy squats.
